  1. As the title days, someone ported Tempest for the 3DO, taking some cues from T2K as well
  2. I agree with most of the user here and i'll say the same opinion i have: Having the Atari Games IPs back would be a Big get for the current Atari under Wade Rosen.
  3. I own a repro cart of Recca. Fun game (IMO) but not for the faint of heart XD The first loop ain't that hard once You memorize it but good #*@$!%? luck with the second loop. That second loop is one of the hardest achivements to obtain on NES, and i Say this as someone who has finished NES Battletoads multiple times. It's doable but requieres a lot of patience and sheer force of will.
  4. I'm gonna go ahead by throwing an curve ball and say i would love to see a homebrew game similar to Attack of the Mutant Penguins on the Mega Drive (i.e. a tower defense-esque game)
  5. I do hope we see Atari acquring the IPs to Atari Games in the future. There is a lot of potential with games such as Marble Madness, Paperboy, Stun Runner, Xybots, Rampart, Klax, and more
  6. Now that i think about it, nobody has done a segmented or a full playthrough of either Power Drive Rally or Cannon Fodder on Jaguar right?
  7. What's very odd to me in regards with this Game is that, during my early days researching stuff about the Atari Jaguar, i came across with various reviews for Mr. Tuff, which unusual for an unreleased game of the era. They ranged from average to positive. The only other one Game i can think of with a similar situation is Skyhammer on the Jaguar.
  8. I've been replaying EarthBound via emulation after finally playing and finishing Mother 3 on GBA.
  9. What is it with the SNES that it seems that finding unreleased games for it seems much easier compared to other consoles? Seriously XD, look at the ratio of consoles like the Sega Genesis, TurboGrafx, and especially Neo Geo...
  10. Both the SNES and Dreamcast have a great library of games. That's all i will say on the matter XD
  11. Some people might have forgotten but those who went to JagFest 2K or 2K1 (IIRC) based on research i did a couple of years ago, might remember that two or three Japanese folks went to the show. One of them was actually the guy who co-edited the Jaguar Japan magazines
  12. Iron Soldier 1 and 2 would be pretty cool
  13. We could, but we have to keep in mind if he still has any remaining physical issues on sale, given the age of this fanzines.
  14. This is actually by Okisyasu (https://twitter.com/Okiyasu2), who made the magazine and there are more issues floating around.
  15. Really cool seeing Berserk getting the spotlight in modern days. https://www.timeextension.com/news/2023/10/atari-announces-berzerk-recharged-a-new-game-based-on-the-1980-arcade-classic I also like that were getting an enhanced 2600 edition! It really makes you wonder if we'll see a new edition of, say, Tempest 2000 on the Atari Jaguar, featuring the tracks that were featured in the OST CD that were cut from the final release due to memory constrains.
  16. A new BigPEmu build is in the works Rich Whitehouse states that it will introduce rewind functionality, network rewind, rollback support, and reverse audio support. It will also include two scripts for analog support in AVP, Iron Soldier, and Wolfenstein 3D In other news, Rich will be giving a speech regarding his work with BigPEmu at PRGE 2023. I hope Hans Reutter of Cyberroach uploads the speech to YouTube in his YT channel! After all, he helped with the Atari 50 collection
  17. Huh, it seems that Joe liked some of the games on the Jaguar in this comparison video against 3DO and 32X
  18. Hmmm... It's very tough for me choosing my favorites but i have some titles on my head right now: - F-Zero - Axelay - Top Gear - Kirby Super Star - DKC1 & 2 - Winter Gold - Super Castlevania IV & Castlevania Dracula X - Terranigma - Mario World (obviously) & Yoshi's Island - Super Metroid - Pilotwings - Umihara Kawase - Ogre Battle - Chrono Trigger - EarthBound - Plok - Equinox (Solstice II) - Green Lantern (unreleased) - Waterworld - HyperZone - Alcahest - Demon's Crest - Magic Sword - ActRaiser - Sutte Hakkun
  19. It would be nice seeing those Bomberman-esque projects being completed someday. My mom used to love playing Bomberman and she is the reason why i like the series in the first place
  20. It seems that the BB team were having a little fun tinkering with the SNES hardware on this stage
  21. Where did you hear the game was coming out in the US? That's new info to me...
  22. Well, as i said on another thread (IIRC), things are looking up in the SNES homebrew scene with games like Dottie Flowers and Rex Nobilis. https://www.timeextension.com/news/2023/06/round-up-every-game-showcased-at-the-first-homebrew-summer-showcase-2023 The main sticking point for all homebrew devs is the lack of a SGDK equivalent on SNES, which would ease game development on the console.
  23. I would only buy one if the emulator is BigPEmu. If that's not the case, then an FPGA option wouldn't be so bad after all...
