My old copy of Sonic CD got bit rot and started freezing up at a couple different points, so I trashed it and bought a replacement on eBay. The replacement copy of Sonic CD arrived today and it's riddled with bit rot too. I am just not having any luck with this game >_<

  Weirdly (and thankfully) in spite having lots of little pinholes of bit rot all through it, my new copy of Sonic CD played perfectly all the way through without any problems at all! I don't know how long it'll take before the rot spreads enough to cause problems playing the game, but for the time being it seems alright and hopefully by the time any problems arise I'll have gotten a Mega SD for all my Sega CD gaming needs.
