Green Hell!! Misfits!! YEAH!! that was actually fun. i like how you rack up points when the bad guy touches you. i wasn't expecting that. i see a "you win" routine, but how do you win?

Link's Awakening is not only the best Zelda title, it's the best gameboy title. Possibly the best Nintendo title to date. (i REALLY love that game)

you know what? this wouldn't even be considered hardware. i'm not the brightest taste bud on the palette...

would it be practical for someone to develop a companion cartridge for the AtariVox (or SaveKey)? users could power up their console and get a list of each game and their high scores. however, i would think the names of each game would have to be programmed into the cart, thus killing this idea totally, as future games supporting the devices would make such a cart outdated. so, uh... nevermind. but i'll post this anyway. maybe someone else can think of something...

i have completely given up on accessing Game III. reading the omitted "clue text" from the actual manual is just one more reason why my next AA purchase will include this cart.

#2. Something tells me that the holiday sale was more popular than usual this year. I dunno - in 2004 my Holiday Qb is #28. in 2005 my RR is #213! I was surprised when I got such a big number. A lot of RR sold! I think in 2004 Qb was available just after Thanksgiving...and I ordered RR at the end of the year - I think 12/29. that's believable. on 12/13 i ordered my stuff and it was order #5522. exactly a month later i had to place another order just so i can obtain a Holiday Qb cart, and THAT order number is #5755. Toyshop Trouble going way beyond 300 is likely. Math Grand Prix sure payed off...

i had Defender, which was okay, and Pong, which was exellent. Tiger Electronics made these in..uh.. the mid 90s.

in the heyday of the 2600, my mom was hooked on Video Pinball. when we got our NES, my mom discovered the art of Bomberman. i would wake up early in the morning just to claim the system, but she was already on it. my dad has been hooked on black & white original [grey brick game boy] Tetris since day one and nothing has changed to this day. that cartridge went with him to both Iraq and Afganistan(sp) and still works.

i could see this (an already-modified version) selling in the AA store as a combo deal with the coax converter. or maybe not. i'm too much of a scaredy-cat to unhinge my one and only 2600.

my first atari 2600 experience was in 1984. i was three. thanks to this, i can roll the score in several games without dying once. i tried wearing a blindfold once in Pitfall, just to show off, but that was a tragic mistake. ha!

my SaveKey came in the other day. man is that thing TINY, and it's not nearly as flimsy as i thought it would be. in fact it's not flimsy at all. i haven't used it yet, as i just realized my 2600 switchbox is now broken, so i'll probably get a coax converter thing from the AA store.

Haedokens on the title screen doesn't do it either.

sweet. thanks for the reply. i bought one of each. i'll use my AtariVox on the 2600 and whenever i get another working Vectrex i'll use the SaveKey for that.
