To me, the size and shape of Pac and the Ghosts looks better and the overall feel of the controls and pace of the game is more like the arcade. I don't know if the ghost patterns are mimicing the arcade or not - but it feels pretty close.

This is a pretty incredible find if it turns up in his attic though. A game that wasn't even listed on any of atari's list of protos turning up fully finished according to the original programmer? Is it April already?

i don't know that I agree. I've seen a much deeper level of arrogance, ignorance, and crazed political, religious, and social shaming and arguments on Facebook than I've ever seen on boards like this one. Facebook often reads like the social networking equivalent of the People of Walmart. Lots of really misinformed and brazen people with very strong, often poorly misspelled ideas and beliefs, screaming from an internet mountaintop. -

I use facebook for keeping up with close friends and Family only. I shy away from the Political and Social arguments on there. My Friend list is tiny, and is only populated with people who I am in contact with in real life. I find this cuts down on the nonsense, and keeps me from embarassing myself in some dumb internet arguments on the same site where my family can see my activity. :-) -
This version is flat out amazing. I've played most of the previous hack and homebrew re-do's of Pac-MAn for the 2600, but this is far and away the best. The Sound is Gorgeous.
