  1. I picked up a TI-99/4A today and it does not have the SOLID STATE SOFTWARE label on the bottom of the Cartridge Slot area. It looks as if this model never even had one. Is there a particular reason why some came with them and some did not? Thanks
  2. WOW this is an Awesome list and quite a large undertaking. Thanks for al lof your hard work
  3. Does this simply give the TI a Printer Interface without the need for the Peripheral Box? http://www.ebay.com/itm/131608105944?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  4. I just spoke with him and his story is a little different but he definitely wants to work something out with you. He said he will be emailing you sometime this evening so hopefully things will work out for the both of you.
  5. Hello Schmitzi... Long time no see. Did you get ahold of him and let him know? I am sure he would make it right. I have not had a lot of interaction with him on a 1 to 1 but have talked to him quite a bit in our local group get togethers and have purchased a bunch of parts outside of ebay but fortunately I live locally and can see th eparts working in action. I know he has sold a lot to you in the past. Can you send me a PM and we can discuss further?
  6. One of our local's has this TI system for sale. I can personally vouch that it is in good working order. The only issue is that is does need a DCC for it but other than that it is pretty complete. I made an offer on just the PEB but he wont seperate it from the system. http://www.ebay.com/itm/151811823480?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
  7. I have an Atarisoft Cart that has something rattling around inside and wanted to open it up without damaging it. As you know, its not like the standard TI Cart. How does an Atarisoft Cart come apart?
  8. Got it!!! Thank You as the link I found was sending me to the Utilities Dir and not the PCUtilities Dir Thanks
  9. Where is the TI99-PC program on Whtech?... I found a broken link and could not find the actual program to download.
  10. Was there ever any production numbers released on how many of these carts were ever made?
  11. All of those pictures show the label more on the front of the cartridge instead of the top. Did they place them on different parts of the cart from the factory?
  12. It looks like a Generic Label that I have seen quite often on these cartridges. To me it looks like something that someone cut and glued on LOL but I have seen the same label many other times. Are there other variants of these labels?
  13. I just picked up a working Beyond Parsec Cart and Manual for $40. I have been wheeling and dealing with this guy for 2 weeks. He originally wanted over $100 and I wasnt willing to go that high. I thought I had an agreement around $50 but he never got back with me. I guess he was trying to sell it for more and no one purchased it. I offered him $40 today and he accepted. 14. We found 2 cards on ebay and ended up purchasing one of them. One was the complete card with cable and another auction had just the card with no cable so we ended up not purchasing that one after reading Ksarul's advice. We will attempt to repair the existing one that we have and at least we will also have a spare now. We picked it up for $37
  15. It's back up for sale and at a reduced price.... The Nicest TI available on ebay!!! Wonder why it didnt sell the first time for $150 http://www.ebay.com/itm/ti-994a-computer-with-22-cartridges-AS-IS-/221839022215?hash=item33a6a2d887
  16. Thanks for looking Do they sell just the cable portion anywhere?
  17. Did anyone here win the Complete System with PEB, 6 Atarisoft Games, some other misc games, a bunch of Mags and etc just a few minutes ago?
  18. I think we are definitely going to repair it but we need to have an extra one laying around anyways just in case something like this happens again with a local user. I found a card for sale but it has no cable unfortunately.
  19. One of our local TI Guys had their Flex Cable and Card go bad. We swapped it temporarily with one of ours and it worked but none of us happen to have a spare for him. Does anyone happen to have a spare that they would be willing to sell and ship in the US? Thank you
  20. I agree.... The Basics are perfect for those who have never played or want to start playing again. Are there any TOD Games based on the Lord of the Rings Scenario or the Hobbit?
  21. I agree especially on that auction. All of the Outer Boxes even had writing on them and as you said, nothing was Rare.
  22. I was one of the folks who wanted the Atarisoft Package but not anywhere near the price range that it went for. I personally wouldnt of paid more than $40 - $50 so someone definitely wanted it really bad. I couldnt believe the prices on those auctions.
  23. What the heck happened with these 2 auctions? Why did they go for so much? http://www.ebay.com/itm/15-TI-99-4A-Games-Popular-Titles-all-CIBs-from-an-estate-sale-Nice-/261972674971?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=i1YFHsZXKkBspQE1P0VU7yZeuMc%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc http://www.ebay.com/itm/261972675699?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  24. I just came across this picture titled "Tunnels of Doom Reboot" Does anyone know anything about this?
  25. OK..... I see Post's referring to Tunnels of Doom on a regular basis and again today. Tunnels of Doom is my All Time Favorite TI-99 Game. Maybe it's because I grew up during the times of playing Dungeons and Dragons on paper for hours on end with some of the neighborhood kids. Tunnels of Doom was Awesome bc you could play it if no one else was available. It had sound and color and the graphics were OK (Considering the 1980's) Anyways.... Can we come up with a Compilation of all of the Tunnels of Dooms games (or TOD Style and Remakes) for the TI-99/4A Computer System and list them here? Any detailed information as to who also made them would be helpful and how good they were compared to the Base Game.
