    Yes like I said the monitor out is fine no sound. I took it completely apart, cleaned the reset buttons with CRC. Everything looks good. Not sure if it’s a bad cable. This is the only DIN cable I own and it’s the one that I got from you when I bought the system from your Retro System Rescue website so I know it used to work fine. I read that rolling noise can be caused by using a DIN that has incorrect wiring to the pins on the connector port. I might try to get a Commodore 64 DIN monitor cable since I read it can be substituted for the Adam but beyond that it may need the port solder connector replaced.

    Now I’m getting distorted video from the composite DIN out. Picture rolls, lots of interference. I’m going with bad cable but hope it’s not the composite out port.

    Okay got it working from RCA monitor out. No sound. Apparently the composite 5-pin DIN to RCA cable or the port is bad. I will try replacing the DIN cable if I can find another. At least I have video.

    Just hooked up my Adam after our move. I am using an external AC power supply purchased from a well-known member of this group. The power light on the power supply is on. The red keyboard power light is on so I know it is getting power. No picture and no sound coming from the console indicating it is working. When I try the reset button nothing happens. When I put a cartridge in the slot and hit the reset button nothing happens. Problem is definitely at the console unit. Any ideas what it could be or is the unit toast?

    Is there a homebrew or similar knockoff of Battlezone for Vectrex like Defender/Protector? Seems like it would be a natural especially if it made use of the 3-D imager.

    Anybody know if you can still buy these from Pakrat games or elsewhere? I just got a Vectrex console and am looking for some good homebrews. Is Pakrat reputable and still in operation?

    Just went to the CollectorVision site. What happened to all of the Colecovision games? There's only a few recent ones to order now. The older titles are gone.

    I have actually bought from Best Electronics MANY MANY times and yes it's just as outdated BUT at least they UPDATE info on their main page regularly. eColeco has not, after great searching to find the page info, last updated in 2010 almost SEVEN YEARS AGO! And NO not everyone is IN THE KNOW which is an elitist mentality to take and very alienating towards new customers who are discovering it themselves. I don't know who Terry Fowler is but I'm glad you guys IN-THE-KNOW KNOW and can confirm that he is reputable to buy from which was what I was asking.

    You are absolutely right. It's the presentation. It looks like an ancient relic site leftover from the 90's compuserve days. An update would probably really help boost business and not scare away potential customers such as myself writing it off as an unsafe abandoned site.

    Thanks for the reassurance guys. I just wanted to make sure they were still legit and my payment isn't going to disappear into vaporware. I'll email them first to verify stock.

    Has anybody had success ordering from eColeco? Looks like their website hasn't been updated since 2010 so I'm hesitant to order anything.

    Just got an Adam memory module and am having a similar problem. It will not play my homebrew of Galaxian. I get the "Colecovision: Turn game off before inserting cartridge or expansion module" screen. My Colecovision carts all work fine. Tried blowing on it, cleaning the connector pins... nada. Cart will play fine though in my Colecovision just not the Adam.
