  1. Jess, thanks for the pack o' captures. I've got a new desktop background. The cue cards the witchdoctor had them read were hilarious. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. -Chuck
  2. Shill bidding? C'mon, I'm painfully honest on Ebay. It's just dumb Jethro luck. The Ultima II ended up going to Germany after a healthy bidding war. It's funny, like you said a lot of items that I think will sell high don't even sell. You never know. -Chuck cmgill on Ebay
  3. It was an Ultima II complete and like new. I put it on Ebay and was surprised that it went for that much. Nice map display, the cloth maps were really a nice bonus. -Chuck
  4. Thanks for the comments! I figured Mule would sell for a lot. I am glad it came with 2 copies because I didn't have one. I wasn't sure about The Exodus: Ultima III, but I did sell an Ultima II for over $300 about 3 years ago. We shall see. I always liked the EA packaging and for the most part the games. I was surprised there was no Archon in the lot. My wife and I played it against each other exactly once. It would have caused marital problems if we played more. We ended up playing the one player game. She hated the Phoenix. We also still have an original Pinball Construction Set that Bill Budge autographed for us when it was new. @AtariDude, I am kind of embarassed to say that that an Andrew Jackson covered it all. @Velcro_SP, They did an excellent job installing the keyboard even though it looks kind of klugey. The keys are a little smaller than the 800 keyboard, so it feels funny to use. One of the things that was odd about the whole lot was that every piece of software is an orginal. I've never seen that in all of the computers I've picked up over the years. -Chuck
  5. Thanks! The Flip n' Flop is a cassette. I forgot to mention it also came with a 410, several of the games were on tape. -Chuck
  6. I to some garage sales with my wife this morning and she found a huge lot of 8-bit Atari stuff. After getting my attention, I gathered it all up and bought it. Everything is in excellent condition, most software came with the original store receipts. I apologize to those with dial-up for all the pictures. The 400 has a full travel keyboard mod and 48k. Trak and Rana drives, both came with cables power supplies and docs. A software bonanza, the Zork I with all of the packaging is awesome. I got 2 copies of M.U.L.E. one is still in the shrinkwrap! The seller was delighted someone wanted this stuff. -Chuck
  7. I have a loose Harbor Escape. -Chuck
  8. Thanks foxglove9, I still keep finding new stuff to add to it too. -Chuck
  9. @ANTHONY ATARI Thanks, the Trans Am picture came from EGM magazine awhile back. @pmpddytim, It's a scan of the instruction book cover. I cropped it to the part I wanted and sized it to fit the controller. It was printed on HP Glossy paper. -Chuck
  10. Happy_Dude, Good memory! This is a more different controller. This one has two fire buttons and a much nicer label. Now we have two controllers for multiplayer games. -Chuck
  11. Thanks guys, that must be it. @Paul, I don't mind paying postage and your costs, it did work before. Here's what I was making. This one has an additonal button for Bumper Bash. -Chuck
  12. I was working on a new Marble Craze controller yesterday and had some trouble with my Marble Craze cart. On my heavy 6 switch system it resets back to the title screen at random times. On my 2600 Jr. the player screen goes to garbage and the ball gets stuck right where the first ramp is on level 1, or on the 3rd screen if you start on level 5. On my 7800 it seems to work fine. I was thinking an inadequate power supply problem on the 2600s but they both play the game perfectly using the Cuttle Cart. Other games seem to work fine too. A new power supply made no difference. Anybody got an idea? Thanks, Chuck
  13. Krytol, Nice concept, I really like it. It's an improvement over the original game. Chuck
  14. Once again your skills of an artist are amazing. Can't wait to play it. Chuck
  15. CPUWIZ, Did you actually make Pinky's Circus? If so I need one. Chuck
  16. Here is my somewhat bizarre collection of homebrews, hacks, and homemade carts. In the 2600 is a repro Magicard. My only non-atari one is that ColecoVision Pac-man. Chuck
  17. I have an old Atari RealSports shirt. The tag has a Fuji and says not for resale on it. It's a bit faded, but not too bad. Chuck
  18. From an old Atari FAQ - 5 V DC 1.5 A (7.5 W) Atari#CO61763-11 600XL,800XL,65XE,130XE,800XE,XE Game System two supplies with the same part number, but different cases and different input Values :#1, 65XE (Poland, made in Taiwan), Input 22 VA #2, 800XL, Input 26 VA -Chuck
  19. Mine plays both US and Japanese games without a problem. I'm sure a UK version would be the same. I don't know about the link cable games. If I can find out I'll post again. Chuck
  20. Download in progress as I'm typing. Gregory DG thanks for posting this. Dungeon Master on the ST occupied a lot my (and my family's) time those many years ago. It's still an all time favorite. Chuck
  21. The diagram is ok. The input (pin 9) comes from the 2600 cart connector. The output (pin goes to the eprom chip. Chuck
