  1. This game Reaxion is really, really good. It is sort of a mindbender in that the puzzles get a little tough and I don't think I can do it, but then there I go somehow and do it. The time limit keeps the tension and excitement high. It is very colorful and the music is good. Nice work! PS: This would be a good one to put on a cart and sell on AtariAge webshop! PPS: I wonder would it run on cart in 400/800?
  2. Can you post a screenshot of multi-joy Tennis in action? I browsed your Czech pages and found these screenshots, which are nice but I would like to see Tennis!
  3. Is this a patch for the Atari 800's four joystick ports or for some expansion device?
  4. You guys forgot to list BeweDOS as a choice so I had to select "other!"
  5. I don't recall the proper name of it but Stuart Smith (who authored Ali Baba and Heracles) did a construction kit for making games like that. People metioned SEUCK in this thread. Shoot Em Up Construction Kit (SEUCK) appeared for Amiga and I found the games made from it to be really horrible. SEUCK seemed to channel people into a certain type of game (the vertical scroller) and the performance of the games was just poor IMO. I would be interested which, of the construction sets we have already listed, generated binaries that were freely releasable and required no runtime libraries or original disks to run. Anyone?
  6. This is my favorite game of all time really, even though I have only ever played it on one disk drive. I have two disk drives (1050s) and an Atari 800 w. 64k but it never would let me play with both diskdrives. I would do anything to get AR: the City on a flashcart! However I bet it will be tough. Maybe the best place to start is an ATR of a cracked version. However you must watch out because there are a lot of AR ATRs floating around that don't work completely! Bad ATRs or ATRs of incomplete cracks!
  7. The tiny Tarot cards that are the background of this page I made from PLOT and DRAWTO statements in Atari BASIC when I was 15 or 16. I set them to draw in a never ending loop that scrolled the screen downwards. http://linux.tc3net.com/daclmi/8bitart.html The pictures were done in BBK Artist. That was a great paint program published in Analog. One of my 8bit desires is to get the author of BBK Artist to dig up his program and add mouse support for the Atari ST-type mouses that already work in Atari 8bit machines. [/url]
  8. > Here are a few of the items I am working on: > 1. A Lynx cartridge (1Mb/2Mb). > 2. An adapter so you can use 2600 joysticks with the emulators on your > PC. > 3. MIDIMate Interface. > 4. SpartaDOS X cartridge. > Better yet, why don't you guys tell me what you would like to see for the > 400/800/XL computers and I will make it!! > Mark I would like a BeWeDOS cartridge as opposed to SpartaDOS X because BeWe has lower requirements (and will run on my Atari 800). I bought your InstaDOS cartridge, but BeWe is my fave. I also definitely would like an easy-to-use adapter to use Atari-style joystick on a PC with the emulators, for 8bit or Atari 2600, or even MAME or whatever. That would be excellent!
