  1. Not sure why I was thinking composite it wouldn’t come from sync.
  2. Hi @SainT, I did the bodge you recommended and it worked instantly! I ordered the smaller component, so it took an extra minute to solder in but worked. As per the other mods, you mentioned composite...wouldn't mind adding that. I'm assuming you connected the resistor back on the other side of the board an added a cap and resistor? what values are they? As per the audio mod, what improvements would I see? I ordered an extra level shifter incase.
  3. Which sku? My guess is the fixed and not unidirectional?
  4. What are you doing on the other side for comp sync? I see the THS is still in use
  5. Shouldn’t be a problem. Where do you recommend the trace be cut? Right before the connector? In this case I would remove the first resistor and use the pad. Can you recommend a part #for the shifter? Just curious are the level shifters that are on the PCB all filled up or can one be used?
  6. I might just keep a spare cable for now. Once you have the a proper fix tested is it possible to release a small schematic so I can put a fix in?
  7. Is there a reason why I can't lower the value of R82 and maybe R48 instead? Not sure what it is at the moment as I have to take off to measure. I thought I saw that the THS7374 can take a pretty wide range of voltage. I can also cut the trace going to pin 4/5.
  8. What’s the voltage coming off of the fpga? possible to sketch a small diagram for how to wire?
  9. Silly question but I see 1 resistor in path and and 1 going to ground. Couldn’t I just change one of those? I didn’t take measurements of these.
  10. Yes replacing a 470 resistor with 75. What would be the fix on the PCB though?
  11. Hi @SainT, Just did a quick test putting a 75ohm resistor on sync and it worked right away on my Framemeister.
  12. I'll give it a try sometime this week and let you know Thanks!
  13. Unfortunately this is my main genesis cable, so I don't really want to change the value. Is there not a resistor that can be changed on the PCB to bring up voltage on the output of the cart? I don't have an issue changing an smd resistor.
  14. What about the fix you mentioned above? Are we able to change the current resistors on this PCB? Would be easy to do.
  15. Hello, @SainT I tried a CSync cable from 2 well known companies(RA/RGC) on my Framemeister and neither worked. I tried them on a Retrotink scart2comp and they both work, but with a lot of jitter at the top of the screen looked like a sync issue. It also takes a very long time for anything to show up on screen so I'm not able to get to the update screen. Anything I can modify inside of the cart to resolve this? My main scaler is the Framemeister.
  16. Hello, Is the SNES project done? Is there a repository to create our own?
  17. Awesome, I’m just waiting for 1 more test
  18. Cool, has anyone tested with 5X yet?
  19. Hello, How are the other boards coming along?
  20. I wonder if anyone can send one over for testing. I think this is the last thing. Don’t HDRV cables use the same type of sync as well?
  21. Have you tried with the latest RT5x firmware?
