  1. Here is my last homebrew. Treasure Island. It tries to be Monkey Island for the Atari 2600 but due to copyright (and inconvenient comparisons) I named it Treasure Island and follows both the plot of Stevenson's book and of LucasArts game. You need to press the left direction (or the up direction) at certain moments to fork the story to another part like Choose Your Own Adventure meets Dragon's Lair. I hope you like it. I'll post the itch.io page in which it is uploaded. I don't have the bin to upload here at this moment. https://mauisland.itch.io/treasure-island-atari-2600
  2. This is BOOM, the third instance of a previous game of mine: Laundry Hero. But it's just a rolling demo, I hope I can develop it further, but I have many projects in mind. https://mauisland.itch.io/boom-atari-2600 aniloo.bin
  3. Yes, as Prizrak correctly says, there is a 1, and also a 3 Let's hope for a 4. You can find them (among other games by me) in my profile, searching by "topics started".
  4. Yes it's a 256 ROM. I cannot make it work in my Harmony Encore. Maybe I need to update it.
  5. Ever since I got an account in this forum I wanted to make this game, my first game ever here was a text game based in this game. So here it is the nth incarnation of Abadia del Crimen for Atari 2600, I did many versions previously, including one with real isometric graphics, not animations like in this one. So here it goes. The official page in itch.io is: https://mauisland.itch.io/abadia-del-crimen-atari-2600 AbadiaDelCrimenV3.zip
  6. You click the fire and it is like shooting. But it was done very poorly. For example you never die. They never shoot back. Arrow up you advance in the corridor. And arrow left and right you take a door to the left or right. When there is such a door. You cannot go back with the down key.
  7. It is sort of finished. But could be improved.
  8. Yes. That was mine. (It's sort of finished) Thanks!!! I will see if I can make the screensaver you say. I will try.
  9. You mean a screensaver inside the game?
  10. This is the final chapter of Prince of Indiana trilogy. I merged Indiana Jones, Prince of Persia and Return of the Jedi in this one. In the last chapter, Prince of Indiana in a mine cart ended up aboard a zeppelin of the Multilateral Convention, a neoprogressive organization that functions like the nazis in the normal Indiana Jones stories. This organization exhumed the Second Ark of Noah, a relic from Atlantis, in which the stowaway Steve could enter, when any human had forbidden access to this "all animals except humans" ark to prevent extinction. The ark ended up in the coasts of Provence, France, where the Priory of Steve was founded. Now Prince of Indiana is prisoner of this shady organization and Sophia and the Rolling Stones are about to rescue him. They have two options, an attack by air, or by land in which case they will deactivate the shields of the zeppelin, something they fail to do. Prince of Indiana has a duel with a Darth Vader kind of villain, a sort of vizier. And once he defeats him he is presented with a choice, what is the metal the grail is made of (by the way stevia is what was formerly known as orichalchum and is very important in the alchemic traditions) This metal is entangled with the metal the ark is made of, so if you choose lead, the ark and the zeppelin will drown. Later they find Prince floating hanging from a balloon when they look for survivors. And the Rolling Stones give medals of honor to both Sophia and Prince, like in Star Wars, Leia does with Han and Luke. And Sophia winks to Keith Richards who acts like he didn't see it, just like Leia. I tried to convey all this in the game, but failed. Strange story, but it was an improvisation, made on the fly, and sometimes retconned here and there. Source: http://mauisland.byethost24.com/animator/prince3/animate.txt anim.bin
  11. No, just download the last one. That is the one that is complete. When you finish it, it starts again, if you press the proper key.
  12. Last animation of this chapter. It will be continued in Prince of Indiana 3. anim.bin
  13. More animations of the mine cart. anim.bin
  14. New animation. Escape the dungeons in a mine cart. anim.bin
  15. A minor animation added. A door that gets closed and you get trapped inside Nellcote's dungeon. But I liked how it looks. I tried to look like Mark Ferrari, illustrator of many LucasArts games, just tried ... anim.bin
  16. In the case of Prince of Indiana 2, it does not work in javatari, because it is a 128k ROM.
  17. I continued with some more animations. Now the Rolling Stones make a cameo! anim.bin
  18. I had this idea for a while, the second part of Prince of Indiana. It is unfinished, there is a point after which it's the old game, I still need to overwrite those parts with new animations. It's like the old game, an animation, if you press a key at the "right time" (there's a lot of wiggle room for that "right time") you evade a danger, if not you're dead. Source code, so far: http://mauisland.byethost24.com/animator/prince2/animate.txt anim.bin
  19. Here's a video: Wolfenstein 3D for the Atari 2600 - YouTube
  20. I added a little more to the game (Wolfenstein, not Star Wars yet). Now you must "collect" (kidnap) the enemy army by taking members of it, when you reach the end of the labyrinth you will see a binary tree. That is the "staff chart". In green are the "nodes" you already collected. In blue the one you are "collecting" now. It was originally thought to represent objects and their dependency. For example you need object A and B to get object C. But it was already too complicated to just do it like it is now. So I decided that it is "bosses" you collect or kidnap until you do it with the whole garrison of the castle. Each door you take differently will lead you to a different exit of the labyrinth. To a different "boss room". But you don't fight any boss. You just take it. My next game hopefully will use that tree as a representation of objects and their dependency. wolfen4.zip
  21. It's my fault also to not provide a way of abandoning the Game Over screen. I tried to do it like in Battlezone, when you loose it shows static. That was the inspiration.
  22. Sorry but I could not avoid "lol" at your video. That is when you loose "3 lives", that means, three waves of bikers escape being killed by your gun. I know it is difficult to understand for someone that does not know in advance what is happening. That is why I put a manual in the zip. Maybe you downloaded directly the bin. It's my fault for spreading so many different files around the thread. The manual itself is part of the game, given that there are ciphered texts there needed to be decyphered with keys given in the game. That is a lame way to show complexity without the player knowing the "plot" in advance.
  23. Maybe it's not a bug, there is a rear-view mirror in the top part of the screen. Is that maybe why you think it is a bug?
  24. Another change of skin, and it's Star Wars. hideoustreng.zip
  25. Added graphics of the key and the doors at left and right. wolfen3.zip
