It's not hard to tell that you grew up with the Genesis, lol. But, you can't fault the SNES because some of its graphics depend on a specific thing it's hardware can do. I actually like the Sega CD. The library is just kinda small if you don't enjoy cheesy FMV games (except for Dragons Lair and Road Avenger, which are awesome.) The 32X has an extremely small library of good games so it's difficult to really say much good about it. Also, is it just mine or does the 32X actually reduce clarity of Genesis games?

Personally, I'm not a fan of digital download. After playing through a game, I typically don't touch it ever again unless it's something really special like Super Mario, Smash Bros, or Zelda. So, I sell my games after the first play though. Then I re-invest that money back into another game. This doesn't work with digital only games. Besides, I never buy games when they come out and it's not like new games come with real manuals anyway. There's nothing to gain by buying new over used. So, I can go on eBay and get a two year old game for $10 whereas it's still $30+ on Xbox Live.

So, I am into guitars as well as video games and about four years ago, a site called Reverb was started. They had quite a bit of capital to start with, but Reverb has stolen a large chunk of sales from eBay and they are growing. There is certainly a big market for people wanting to get away from eBay. Their fees have gotten out of control. I say, go for it and good luck!

It's much cheaper to replace the laser than to buy retail games.

You could swap controller ports when the system is open. It's easy enough to do.

Have you tested it with another controller? Do you know if it's a problem with the console or the controller?

The Turbo Duo already needs a bit of work to be usable these days and it's a decade newer than the VCS.
