Friend of mine can beat the Lynx version every time he plays it. He's just a natural on that game. Myself, I never get past the stage with the rolling barrels...

Does anyone know of the ID of the Midwest Classic guys here on Atariage? (If they are on here). I'd like to PM them on this Battlewheels thing... Otherwise, I'll go the the Goatstore website - but I can't do that at work - no damn email access here .

That would be great. I can bring up to 3 lynxes, but I only have 2 copies of Battlewheels. I'd have to check, but I know I have at least 4-5 copies, plus I've gota couple of friends that have copies. SO hopefully I should get the 6 together again. I'll try to get my brother-in-law to help haul all the carts/units to the show!

Ha! It's in my will. Most will be given to certain game enthusiasts I know to be sold off for charity. My favorite game for each system will be buried with me! Gotta play something while I'm dead! -
I have done 6 player BattleWheels. It's a blast to play!!! Just picture a bunch of folks having a good time yelling and taunting each other as they try to fight it out on the hooked up lynx machines! Of course, it helps when you have enough lynx machine (I've got 10) And I'll be at the Midwest show next year - I'll try to remember to bring at least 4 of my lynx units!

Personally, I'm pissed off about this BS cart thing. Every single time I put myself on this 'so-called' list, and every single time I never get an email back. I always find out about it in a forum, after there is no chance of getting a copy (except from some scummy ebay person looking to make some extra cash).

for those starting now, it is harder than it used to be. I got most of my collection when the 'old' Atari was going under. Ended up buying over half my collection for around $5-10 per cartridge. At this point in time, I'm only missing one game!!!

Wico Joystcks are just outstanding. Since they were made my an Arcade company, they can really take a beating. I'm still using my original set from the early 80's! As for pads, they just don't work good with old game, like PacMan, and other such games where precision control is needed!.

The fact that the GBA version will saves scores in just so cool. Can't figure out why they didn't do this on the PS2 version (at least I heard they didn't).
