  1. I actually don't collect Sears items but thought I'd help get you flooded with requests because I'm just a great all-around dude
  2. Yeah the cart alone would probably fetch that much these days. I wouldn't go higher than $115.
  3. I was wondering if it were that or it was stored with other games front to back and some moisture caused it to stick and tear away when finally separated. Since there are no other signs of water damage on that box, I'm thinking you are correct. If you want to try for it, I'll be happy to attempt to fix that box for you at no charge. I wouldn't pay anywhere near the $195 they're asking for it though. Unless you can get them to come down about $60-70, I'd pass and wait for an undamaged copy to come along.
  4. I am a sick man for wanting to buy this simply because I have some theories as to how I can restore the box art without making any cuts... eBay Item: 325637177714 Thankfully the price is prohibitive enough keep my nerd sensibilities at bay for now.
  5. I feel ya. That's a ridiculous price for a damaged label cart!
  6. Amazing work as always, Steve! Now where's mthompson to recreate all of the manuals into Sears style?
  7. That's pretty cool. I have a boatload of spare Donkey Kong carts if you need a further supply at the ready. I know Rev already sent you a batch.
  8. Ok well... Hatman 3:16 says I just whipped your a$$ (at Body Slam)!
  9. "Tudor-Pro" was my half-joking attempt to make a shorter name for the Super Pro systems with TudorVision boards in them. Use the term as you see fit 👍
  10. It's not so much a question of original vs. fake but more that adding a sticker does not constitute an actual change to the original packaging. At least no more so than the joking "Toys R' Us" price tags example vtadave posted. Ultimately, everyone is going to define what counts as a variation for themselves and their own collections so there is no wrong answer. For my part, it takes some kind of permanent change to constitute a real difference before I can call it a true variant. Random sticker application doesn't meet that standard to me.
  11. I am in that category. You see 5 or so CIB copies of Spiker hit eBay in any given year. LF II complete? Maybe 2 at best.
  12. This is why I would never consider those to be an actual variant. Anyone can reprodcue those stickers and there would be no way to tell. And since they could be/were hand placed anywhere on the boxes, it makes it impossible to standardize them as a single variation.
  13. Alright... which one of you sniped this beauty? https://www.ebay.com/itm/304892035252?
  14. I have never seen the Sears version of this in the wild but I do remember our local Service Merchandise had the full Intellivision version. That's where my dad bought our original Inty console along with US Ski Team Skiing and PBA Bowling. Those and the Las Vegas Poker & Blackjack that came with the unit were our first 3 games in Christmas 1980.
  15. Can I get one that holds 125 carts? Seriously though, this is awesome and I'll be ordering some soon. Just have to figure out if I want one rail of 10 or two 5's. I keep a bunch of carts outside of their boxes just for play. Usually the newest stack of homebrews I'm working my way through at any given point. Does the sizing work well with the non-Mattel shells as well? Like Imagic, Parker Brothers, etc?
  16. That's why I don't watch Formula 1 as it is!
  17. I'd love to make that show as I've never been to Vancouver. But I can only do 1 non-family trip a year and have already booked Portland. Please post lots of pics though! (remembers who I'm replying to)... OF THE CONVENTION!! (close call there)
  18. Is it possible they just didn't give you the correct version of the glasses for your CB variation? Perhaps the eye assessment you received wasn't quite correct and you need a different formula? If possible, it would be nice if they could get a set that actually worked for you as well 👍
  19. He has the version of RG color blindness where many shades of red will look green to him, so he often cannot tell red from green. We first suspected he had this condition when he came down for school wearing a red shirt for Green Eggs and Ham Day at his school. He truly thought it was green. He generally sees all other colors normally though some shades of red/orange/yellow tend to blend together for him that do not for normal visioned people. The enchroma glasses work well for him indoors and out, though he really only uses them inside for art class or coloring projects.
  20. This is what we used to help out our oldest boy with his red-green color blindness... https://enchroma.com/pages/color-is-here?gclid=Cj0KCQjwt_qgBhDFARIsABcDjOeV3Kv-pgfoDJpzKvsUhBFFYiI-t1yU9rpj2o9PxTgFaRyz8bWg-aIaAqkSEALw_wcB
  21. the1idiot: Do you wanna talk homebrews or would you rather do the math? Carlos: the1moron: 😲
  22. I understand having to limit collecting to fit a buget of both money and time. Hell, even space comcerns for that matter. So I wish you luck on your new focus Tim!
