  1. Not sure this isn't grey area as well, but this popped up in google search http://file.yizimg.com/383992/2014090921252964.pdf
  2. This work? https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/TE-Connectivity/2129320-3?qs=sGAEpiMZZMtAYTMy7wxArzOuVWqaiNYQyjAnL2G8tjOawozglbyhKA%3d%3d
  3. I was wondering what Analogue did for this, as the SuperNT was a very high profile release. I don't seem them listed in the HDMI adopter's list, so that makes me think they didn't license it. I don't see them use the HDMI anywhere on their product or literature.
  4. Probably would be better not to mention "HDMI" and just say High Definition output for modern TVs or something like that.
  5. I am pretty sure a lot of their claims are unenforceable. The whole thing with using the bus to plug in a new video game system is basically what the colecovision did with the expansion module 1 and expansion module 3.
  6. I'll post the bom to go with this later, if anyone wants it. https://oshpark.com/profiles/Bmack36 https://colecovisionupgradesandsales.ecwid.com/#!/Composite-Mod-DIY/p/70365537/category=20695415
  7. I never said it would plug directly into the system
  8. Not going to happen. There will be an expansion Module #1, but it will not be the Atari2600 that plugs into the colecovision
  9. Do you know how many rounds we are doing for this season?
  10. Yes all SGM games playable on the ADAM should work on the Collectorvision game system.
  11. Unfortunately at this time SGM will not be officially supported. A good and fair effort was made from both sides to try and make this work, but due to the open source nature of this project we were unable to find a way to make this work for everyone involved.
  12. In order to keep things from getting any worse I would request that we table any more of the discussion about this particular topic until Eduardo, retroIllucid, and I have had a chance to talk. If anyone still wants to post in the meantime that is fine, lets just try and keep things civil.
  13. Everyone producing things for this community has put in loads of money and time into making things for this community. I have personally spent thousands of dollars of my personal money developing prototypes and we are looking at 10s of thousands of dollars in tooling costs as well. Not to mention the years of development time myself and others have put into this. Regardless of what Opcode decides to do with his future developments, this system and anything else I do will be open source and available to the community because I feel the community is really what this is about.
  14. Let me just throw out an example. A deli/restaurant (opcode) comes up with an idea to take a something they didn't create like peanut butter (adam memory expansion) and add something else they didn't create (MSX sound chip) and put them together into a new medium (a sandwich) assuming no one had done that before. Should they be commended and have customers go to them to support them for coming up with something new: absolutely. Does that mean that any other resaurant that wants to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches should have to pay a license to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to sell to their customers: not really. Let me just say this: Eduardo is a great member of this community and has contributed a lot to the colecovision. Do I think he deserves praise and support for all he does: absolutely? Do I support him in the stuff he has done: absolutely as I have bought every color line game, Penguin Adventure, and several SGMs. I even donated a F18a system to Eduardo so that he would have the ability to add functionality and test with it to improve his games. Do I think he deserves $20 per unit for something he has had no input and actually abandoned support for, no. If someone wants to setup a go fund me or something for Eduardo to show their support for him I am perfectly fine with that, but it shouldn't have any bearing on this system.
  15. Last thing before you leave: Can you describe what specifically we would be getting with a license if we wanted it?
  16. If you re-read my quote I was saying that there are still people using a real colecovision that need a SGM and they would be where you would still sell your SGM. Not that The FPGA was "authentic".
  17. You are still talking about licensing and we still have not heard what we are actually supposed to be licensing?
