  1. I looked at my routine in NightStalker and it would be a quick change as they are opposite at the moment, as this is what it is currently CALL KEY(1,K,S) :: CALL JOYST(1,PX,PY) :: L=L+4 :: IF S>0 AND G(1)=0 THEN GOSUB _SHOOT So it would be interesting to see how much of a performance boost I'd get if it's checked in one pass.
  2. When I get a chance I'll try it on my FR99 and see if I get the same issues.
  3. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the FR99 had a restriction on name length. I realize the bin file name is 9 characters instead of 8 or less, try renaming it. Let me know if that works.
  4. I'd like to see an extended basic exporter for sprites, I know you can only do 28 in XB, but that would be faster than cutting and pasting the hex code into an editor.
  5. Try downloading the version that doesn't use an installer http://atariage.com/forums/topic/161356-magellan/?p=4153774 first file listed in the message
  6. Available on the internet archive https://archive.org/details/tibook_the-orphan-chronicles

  9. I thought they were pretty fair considering they're used to Amiga games.
  10. Always interesting to see how people who didn't grow up with these take a look at the TI These guys usually cover the Amiga
  11. In classic 99 there is no splash screen and as he said it locks up when you leave the maze or die
  12. The amiga did have analog signals as well as digital. Not many games used it, But I have an adapter for my Amiga that I bought for Fighter Dual Pro back in the day, that allowed me to use a Thrustmaster Joystick & rudder controls with the Amiga, the company also shipped patches for a bunch of flight sims. I believe it also sent digital signals if you wanted to, I haven't used it in forever.
  13. That last one caught me off guard, awesome.
  14. I watched that show, I never recall seeing any TI stuff, lots of commodore stuff.
  15. If any hardware builders are looking for a new projects, we need someone to take on a replacement keyboard like the Amiga guys are getting these days. A drop in keyboard circuit board to replace all the Mitsumi would be super.
  16. I believe the speed increase he mentioned is the compiler itself not the resulting compiled code
  17. I'll take what you got, is it all the sound effects or just the music?
  18. Well I did start working on a Intellivision bomb squad port. Now that Senior Falcon added speech to his compiler maybe I'll get back to that. I tend to start futzing around with graphics in Magellan, and see if it peaks my interest. As well as Bomb Squad, I have Gamestar Baseball, HypaBall, Bruce Lee, a generic football game. I'm still recovering from shipping BO4, so I'm not keen to dive right back in to anything. This is where I left some of them BOMBTECH8.bin JB8.bin Bruce8.bin
  19. In the top 10, I think everything from Lemming down are intriguing. The top games, while the originals are fun, I don't look at those and wonder what a TI version would look like.
  20. It's actually a really fun game, considering it was just invented for the movie, it feels like an old 8 bit video game.
  21. Happy New Year Harry, and thanks for all you've done this last year.
