I know what a SLOW RIDE is...A car that doesn't go very fast, (unless of course it's a metaphor for something else like relationships or something, IDK I haven't read the lyrics). But can anyone tell me what a FOGHAT is?

  FOGHAT is a made-up word by one of the band members when he was a kid. Legend has it he made it up during a scrabble game to describe the olde-time fishing hats worn by Englishmen.
