  1. So,  Game Stop is getting into the NFT biz...(Uck!)...Does this really surprise anyone?  I don't think I've really liked that place since about 2005 (at the latest)...And their stock is up 20% in premarket.

Well, ya heard it here first.   (Probably)  :)

PS  To be clear,  even if there's money to be made,  I'm not saying anything one way or the other,  about investing.  Fridays are often down days for the market,  and unless you're an expert, I am not recommending anything...I just found it interesting.

It's not entirely off-brand for them. But what they need to do is build a time machine, go back 10 years, and close 3/4 of their stores before it's too late.

Or maybe, just maybe they could have had a passion for video games,  an interest in "retro" because it was fun, not because it was a cash grab, carried more stuff, hired better people, trained said people better, carried more controllers for Every system, carried all versions of Flashbacks, kept bobbleheads and dumbass products to a minimum, not bombard customers with the latest thing as soon as they walk through the door, listened to customers, paid attention to market trends, carried homebrews, given more than 3 cents on the dollar for trade-ins, carried what people wanted, offered to special order things when they (inevitably) Don't have it in, and kept boxes for All used games to the best of their (admittedly limited) ability...
