  1. Let's just be honest here... He will send them a box containing a turbografx 16 controller plugged into a dog turd. Somehow it will have hdmi out though.
  2. It should. Worst case it only takes advantage of the rasp pi 2b specs. I manage a couple digital sign installations at a few of my restaurants and I remember going from original rasp pi to the 2b version and it ran same speed until they updated image to take advantage of 4 cores. The software works on the 3 but doesn't support the new wifi just yet but an updated image is around the corner. Pro tip... Fits in a jaguar case, supports USB controllers, has games, and the power LED actually works!
  3. I still remember doing the crystal radio project where you had to wrap a wire around the drain pipe on your kitchen sink. Who knew I was topping Mike Kennedy at age 8! Way more complicated than a SNES in a box!
  4. I can't imagine that the Coleco brand has had this much attention or recognition since the 80's. Gotta strike while the iron is hot! As long as they don't call it "chameleon" they should be fine.
  5. They bailed on Kickstarter with a "hey we need more time to make it EVEN BETTER" Yeah. I could have made something more realistic in 2 hours than that piece of garbage they brought to a big boy trade show. Hell... Clip the barrel jack off the power supply leaving 6 inches of cord... Splice an LED, resistor, and switch between the power supply and run the barrel jack back out to the outside to plug back into the outside. Would have been more convincing. They still would have had to deal with that pesky SD2SNES boot screen though.
  6. It would be nice to get some closure on this thing. Shouldn't be too long until the board they tried to hide under watermarks and a cloudy clear case is found out. So much shady bullshit with this new round of photos.... - No wires coming out of back (he learned that lesson last time) - Cartridge sunk in farther than toy fair... (Empty cartridge and/or no cartridge slot) - Random white wire going to tv from who knows where (not power, assuming static image from pc) - Placement of USB ports right up against components like jtag connector (probably butchered a USB hub and upgraded from tape to hot glue) No video or clear shots of hardware because he is full of shit and could easily have put everyone in their place. With his personality I believe if he had something... anything... he would be screaming from the rooftop with it. In conclusion. He will never be a man and admit that he has tried to deceive us, censor us, and peddle a fairy tale built on turds. Our choices are to debunk photos, ignore it, or try and force answers through other avenues like his business partners, magazine, and his social media. I want what I believe most of us want. Some sort of closure and explanation. We might never get it though.
  7. http://imgur.com/79hww5E Mike Kennedy working hard on the newest prototype.
  8. Yeah. Turns out the <div> tags were running on a SNES and the CSS just electrical taped to the HTML.
  9. Looking forward to what Triverse has to say. Sounds like it will be fairly damning.
  10. I've posted the pictures to Reddit.com/r/FPGA Maybe someone will recognize it.
