      to be fair andrew jackson was a man who successfully dismantled the national bank because he absolutely hated the very idea of it; i feel like he would have seethed at the suggestion of having his face on national currency in the first place

    Hmm, looks like states are now making moves to eliminate land-lines for phone communication and such. This doesn't bode well for people like myself and what does this do to people who have no other choice and/or are using it for DSL?

      i thought landlines still had the advantage of working in bad weather? (which can knock out cell towers and stuff)

    With how popular retro game collecting has gotten, I think all Nintendo would have to do to ensure their next console is a success and make a fortune on it is rerelease the SNES and all their first party games for it. Rereleasing the N64 or GameCube might do nearly as well.

      Well they do have the Virtual Console libraries on the Wii, 3DS, Wii U, etc. - but did you mean actually rereleasing the old systems themselves? Just not sure that that's their market anymore...there's tons of cheapish, off-brand "flashback consoles" running around, I'm sure. Even combination consoles with different slots for different games.
