      That is pretty sick, I like it. By the way, I think you should consider signing up to BandLab. It allows unlimited uploads when compared to a normal SoundCloud account.

    anyone knows how to fix the mojibake problem in Lady Sword for the PC Engine? I tried applying the translation patch off of romhacking and the result is all mojibake. I tried it twice and it's got the same results. Again when I tried renaming the source file.

    also i find pinball to be like Atari 2600 games in the sense that they both require imagination.

    apparently my atari controller drawing is good enough it's been reposted to png sites and used as advertisement. the 2600daptor guy used it in his ad without my knowledge. But since I wanted one anyway I just bought it.

      The electronics are based on the NES controller, though not exactly (an NES controller won't work on an FB1).

      I didn't know the adaptor works for NES controllers.

      The D9 version does as part of Famiclone support.  For NES, will also need a NES to DB9 cable/adapter.

    Having played the 2600 version as my first form of Joust I always found it weird how in most of the other versions the egg hatches into a person and the eagles or whatever come pick them up rather than hatching the eagles and then the riders come and sit on them

      Having played the arcade version first and being a fan of nearly every version since, I still find it strange that little dudes are on ostriches that fly while jousting! lol

      I have very vague memories of playing Joust in... maybe a pizza parlor?... Anyway, I know it was one of the first games I got for my NES. Don't think I've ever played the 2600 version.

      I never liked single-channel IRCs. It was very intimidating and if I went in, everyone already was in the middle of a convo so I feel out of place to butt in and I always end up ignoring them. Besides, a new platform calling for new formats is rational.

    Just heard that Draconian and Super Cobra Arcade are being released in the US soon or sth. I'm assuming that means Draconian's finished and no rom for Super Cobra is available. Never played Bosconian though so I'm not sure what the goal is, though Cobra looks fun.

    I got a 2600daptor II but it won't work. Also which side is "up" anyway? Cause the letters and the arrow are in different orientations. I tried both.

    Interesting that Threes 2600 uses the Piet Mondrian "de Stijl" style for the cartridge label. I'm trying to look up more info on this art style and what was the original.

      Interesting. For what platform?

       

      If I may, I would suggest using the Intellivision version of Atlantis as a reference. It's a more "complete" game than the 2600 and 400/800 versions.

      It's gonna be a combination of the 2600, A8, and Intellivision versions. The game's mostly complete now. Also it's a Windows game. Here's a screenshot:

    I've seen both Pacman and Pitfall being claimed as the best-selling Atari 2600 game so I'm skeptical about this. Is Pacman actually the most-distributed only? Cause Pacman was packed-in with the system at one point or something.

      Combat was packed in at first but later they had Pacman. I was mostly skeptical because both were claimed as number one.
