Centipede: 83842 It's funny with this game, no matter what version... I stink at it a lot (was about to quit with my best ~45000), then I always get that last run in that goes way better.

I remember a long time ago for Choplifter, I completed the game in 2 ways. I saved all 64 hostages and I also made sure all 64 of them were lost. Both ways are hard to do.

You are a more patient person than I am for completing the 2nd loop.

Frankenstein's Monster: 3630 (beat it!) Halloween: 4725 Commentary Frankenstein's Monster: I always liked this game and thought the concept is cool (and still do!)... then I paid attention to the score for the first time! Holy smokes, that's brutal! Lose a life? -200! Get hit by stuff, especially the god damn bats? -points! Fall down the pit (-100), then get hit by a spider (-20?), THEN drown in the water (-200)? -320! On the other hand, first time I ever trapped him! Bonus, if you have a color changing LED, I recommend making it green to get into the theme for this one. Halloween: Can I do better than 4725? Absolutely! Do I want to? No.

Alright, so... first time playing this game. Didn't actually seem THAT difficult (finally felt it ramped up on level Q). I barely made it level Z (did Y without a bomb, don't recommend that! ). After level Z, it loops back to A and repeats the game, but with more difficult monsters aka get the reapers right from the start. I beat level A, then decided to quit. So, whichever score you feel is appropriate to use: Quit at loop 2, stage B: 373090 Completed loop 1: 351490 I personally tried to clear everything off of each level and didn't try to spam monster kills just to farm points (and can see how that'd be easy to do here).

Wow, the bar seemed to be set fairly high last year! I'm in and I will do my best to try to think of something for myself (expect a message tonight or tomorrow)!

Possibly interested! I think I need to know a bit more about what's in the realm of a typical gift with this event, so I have an idea on what I Santa might be hunting, and the even more difficult part, coming up with an idea for myself!

This says 635. So, my screen goes black & white and very fuzzy near the end of this run. After I died, I jiggled some cables and even left the console on and switched TVs, only for it to be still jacked up. Mystery to solve for another time!

Galaga (Expert): 43410 Planet Smashers (Easy): 164100 Planet Smashers is pretty cool (first time playing it), but that's not surprising since I like shmups.

7400 It helped after I figured out that: 1) You have to be in regular dude mode to kill the thing at the end of the level 2) You can get out of a vehicle by holding down the button

Got a "new" little LCD TV from Goodwill I needed to test... and paddle controllers on my 7800 don't work for some reason. So, seemed logical to dig out a 2600 to play this since playing with a mouse on an emulator sucks with this game! I'll definitely want to try again. When you get a good run in, it almost feels like a zen state! 3127

2019 HSC Round 1: Pac Man Collection
DrMooCowz replied to toiletunes's topic in 7800 High Score Club
Oops, I thought I posted this last week, but guess it slipped my mind (not that it matters, since it's not the high score for the bonus). Ms. Pac-Man: 42880 -

24950 - Pac-Man Collection, Random, 5 Lives My sound was all jacked up for some reason, too. Not sure what to do about it, yet. -
