I admit to liking both NY pizza and Chicago deep dish pizza. Yes, I've been to both Chicago and Upstate NY.

  @thanatos Giordano's was definitely our favorite when we stayed in Chicago. Malnatti's crust was too hard. The Bisquick-type crust is just perfect for deep dish IMHO. I'm not a particularly picky pizza eater but the crust should be nice and soft, maybe a little crackery crisp with thin pizzas.

  We also have one in our area called the "Flying Tomato" pizza at a place called Wig and Pen. It has no sauce, and is basically a thick cake of cheese with the dough as a type of crust, and a few tomatoes thrown on top.
