I love my Electribe MX, but it has two problems that I need to fix. One is that all the modulation depth lights go on while having nothing display on the LCD; another is the LCD becoming garbled and it occasionally responds. If anyone here has owned an Electribe MX or SX and has dealt with that problem, I'd like to know how to fix it.

@DragonGrafx-16You have a nice TR-8S and Alpha Juno. My neighbor has a Juno-60 and a Korg M1.

I miss when South Park was actually funny, instead of being obnoxiously insipid.

SP started to suffer from seasonal rot around 2001-2002. However, I did enjoy Good Times With Weapons with Trey Parker's fake Japanese singing. After that, however, it went downhill more spectacularly than Newgrounds did around 2012. I don't watch The Simpsons very often, but still watch old reruns and the Ullman-era shorts.

The Lancia Stratos HF:
It just may be the best car Lancia, if not all of Italy, has ever produced.

So, uh, the 037, which was the last rear wheel drive ever to win the WRC, even beating the mighty Audi Quattro in 1983, isn't a rally legend? The Delta S4, which featured a revolutionary twincharged engine, isn't a rally legend? The Fulvia, which won the Italian Rally Championship no less than 8 times issn't a rally legend?
-
Granted, the others are really great and amazing cars. No debate about that. But, in my opinion, the Stratos is the most iconic and best Lancia in my book as that is car I immediately think of when I think of Lancia. But, then again, others (such as yourself) might think otherwise, which is totally fine. Not a problem at all.

What kind of car you would like to see in a Car Combat game? https://vid.me/sLFg

My dad just died.

I admit to liking both NY pizza and Chicago deep dish pizza. Yes, I've been to both Chicago and Upstate NY.

@thanatos Giordano's was definitely our favorite when we stayed in Chicago. Malnatti's crust was too hard. The Bisquick-type crust is just perfect for deep dish IMHO. I'm not a particularly picky pizza eater but the crust should be nice and soft, maybe a little crackery crisp with thin pizzas.

Would it be wrong of me to put Flash Gordon, Chip 'n' Dale, and Revenge of the Nerds on my "Franchise revivals that should not happen" list?
-
If it were up to me, I would have ended the Terminator franchise with Salvation being the third and final film. Of course, the Universal Studios ride is what Salvation should have been.

Hats Off Entertainment on The New Addams Family:
When I first saw the ads for this back in '98-'99, my first thoughts on this is, "This isn't going to be good."
Upon seeing clips of this show in the video, I actually laughed at them. Kudos on Saban for getting John Astin from the '60s show back.

Spy vs. Spy, quite possibly my favorite MAD strip:

If only I had a '75-'79 B-Body roller to drop my 440 CI V8 in... (Engine still needs to be built.)

Apple used to be synonymous with "quality product that justified the high price tag." However, their decline started around 2006-2007. (I used to like their computers despite using Windows and, before that, Amiga Workbench.)

^ And thanks to that post I now know what a Chocodile is lol I had never heard of them before. Personally I'd like iPhones and iPads a lot more if Apple just ditched iOS and let them run OS X with a touch interface. iOS always seemed too limited in functionality compared to OS X to be practical for me.

Would "Bellator Mortis" (Latin for Dead Warrior) be a good title?

It's been twenty years since Phil Hartman was killed by his wife. When he died, SNL died with him.

Hi, I'm new here.

I wonder why no one ever talks about Metallica's first two albums anymore? (Currently listening to Battery.)

I listened to Metallica like a fiend back in the old days, Ride the Lightning was the first one I bought,...Went back and bought Kill'em All, then waited for Master to come out...I Loved them up until the disappointing Black album, which I did Not buy...At that point I was more into Paradise Lost, Napalm Death, Morbid Angel, Entombed etc., and also punk like Bad Religion, The Misfits, Pennywise, and so on...
-
Most of the "greatest" from 80's metal only had 3 good albums.
I'm talking about albums good all the way through. No filler.
Metallica...first 3
Megadeth....first 3 (although i'l accept if you swap So far, so good, so what for Rust in Peace)
Anthrax....first 3
Slayer...well that one starts a debate depending on if you like Show no Mercy or Hell Awaits more...but one of those, Reign in Blood, and South of Heaven.....still just 3.

I just realized that when making a homebrew game, start with something small and finish it first. Then move on to bigger, more ambitious projects.

@IntelliMissionTalking about one underrated character, and hopefully one that didn't get screwed up.

BITD I loved the D & D cartoon for what it was. (Great for its time). Now I'd like to see a Real D &D cartoon. And not for one for kids. Open it up with a party exploring a dungeon by torchlight when they are attacked by orcs. Then...Carnage!! Hacked off orc limbs, arrows finding their target, people getting beheaded in combat...And the sheer joy of magic missiles. Now, tell me That wouldn't be glorious!

I'm stuck at page fifteen of my script/screenplay and keep hitting writers' blocks.

The first five seasons of MadTV are still great years later! Too bad it went to shit around 2001-2002...

Here's something to calm people down:
Oh, and here's the new episode of PC-88 Paradise:
I wonder if Lemmings was ported to the PC-88?

So...Completely different, but if you like grind and jazz, Ya gotta check out Naked City! (Also called John Zorn Naked City)...I've seen John Zorn (sax) in concert, and the vocalist (Yamatsuka Eye, from Boredoms, Hanatarash, AudioSports, Elvis Dust, Noise Ramones, Puzzle Punks and more) drew an album cover for us (Monastat 7 Japanese release)!

Attention indie studios and aspiring developers: don't give people overlong cutscenes that can just be covered in two minutes or less. Avoid repeating the mistakes made during the CD-ROM era.

@SlidellMan - Basted? That didn't translate well when it entered my brain. First thing I thought of was AI ... Artificial Insemination.

@Ryan Witmer Same here.

I don't want genderswapped Ghostbusters 2. However, I would like an animated Ghostbusters film based on the Real GB cartoon. Don't know if Bill Murray would be interested, then you have to take into consideration whether to choose between Frank Welker or Dan Aykroyd as Ray, as well as between Ernie Hudson, Arsenio Hall, or Buster Jones as Winston.

Was I the only person who saw The Munsters Today during its original run?
