  1. Agreed, Zaxxon, Super Zaxxon, and Future Spy should have been on that system. With that out of the way, as someone who had the original Lemmings on the Amiga, played the Super NES version, and still has the MS-DOS version on CD-ROM: You did an excellent assessment of all the ports, but I wanted to tell you that the Super NES and Genesis/Mega Drive versions had extra levels. The former having five, and the latter having sixty. I also discovered a level editor for the DOS version called LemEdit that I found quite handy and easy to use. However, I haven't tested it in either DOSBox or FreeDOS.
  2. The Master System version of Wonder Boy in Monster World is underrated, and I admit that its PSG rendition of the music held up:
  3. I think Keith of Chibi Akumas could help out.
  4. Happy Easter and here's a little something from me:

The brisket we ate turned out succulent! I'd love to have some fried calamari next time:

’The Fall of Cthulhu’ - directly from Rhode Island ‘hmmmm- crunchy and you can taste ‘the squid’ - no thoughness here,  super-super-tender… Thus ends the ancient unspeakable horror - as a dish on a plate…

      One more for tonight:

Enjoy, and Happy Easter, @Giles N

  5. The Sega Saturn could use more brawlers. Even if Hotrod X has to either pull the plug or change the characters for legal reasons. I bet that Chuck Dixon, John Byrne, Chris Claremont, Grant Morrison, Ethan Van Sciver, and J. Michael Straczynski would be proud of this.
  6. The 8-Bit Guy on the 6502 and its variants:

I watched it a few days ago. Pretty good. I wish there was more of the interview at the end.

  7. Brawlers, another rare, underrepresented genre on the N64.
  8. I used to have the C64 version of Congo Bongo growing up. Too bad that Sega never ported that game to the Master System.
  9. Here's a GameCube homebrew demo I found: As an added bonus:
  10. The first Master System game I played was a port of Hang-On long ago. (I'm talking about early '90s.) When I discovered FreezeSMS (Anyone remember that Emulator), I decided to start playing the likes of Alex Kidd, Shinobi, Wonder Boy, Kenseiden, and Phantasy Star. Hell, I'll be honest by saying that the FM unit gave many games for it a shot in the arm.
  11. Zero Divide The Final Conflict: Zoom's only Sega Saturn game.
  12. 3D Sage just released his 3D game engine for Game Boy Advance: Download link: Gameboy Advance Development (gbadev.org) I have to say that 3D Sage may be the next Ken Silverman.
  13. Fun fact about Sunsoft's Waku Waku 7: They planned on a sequel to that, but had to pull the plug years ago. That, and the character designer for the game died last year.
  14. The Viewpoint 2064 OST:

I'd wish Sega would re-release Sammy's '80s and '90s library that doesn't involve Guilty Gear. Oh, and this is for @Charlie Cat and @Tanooki.

  15. Speaking of Wonder Project J2, whatever happened to Givro/Almanic, the original developers?
  16. Sweet Ange by Koei: This is best described as a Board Game of sorts.
  17. Killing Time looks like it could use the GZDoom treatment or a Hi-Def remaster. By the way, I posted Majuular and Amelie Doree's 3DO videos in the 3DO forum if you want to watch. Oh, and I found one candidate for MiSTeR 64 testing: Viewpoint 2064.
  18. Viewpoint, Neo Geo CD edition: By the way, I posted videos of its cancelled N64 sequel in the Official N64 Thread.
  19. Terra Memoria, a game for those who wanted something in the vein of Grandia:

And here's a video on how to use Mapster 32:

Oh, and here's a bonus for Homestar Runner fans:

Don't worry, those old flash games and menus can be run with Ruffle.

Just download, install in your browser, and voila!

  20. You have something good in the works, Dr. Typo.

  22. Romhacking.net - Translations - Ultima: Kyouryuu Teikoku - The Savage Empire Ultima: The Savage Empire has just gotten an English Patch, but it is still a work-in-progress.
