Burn:Cycle was brilliant though, I remember I finished that several times. I loved the Mad Dog games and had the revolver, Who Shot Johnny Rock, 7th Guest, but I used it to watch my VCD collection a lot too.
I really wanted that machine to succeed, Shame it didn’t.

I uploaded a read-through of TurboPlay #1, complete with lots of gameplay footage of the featured games, to my YouTube channel last night. Figured some of the peeps in this thread might find it interesting.
Always look forward to your new videos man :-)

My collection is complete.
I even managed to buy one more as a Christmas gift at the weekend. Walked into my local toy store. They had 11, 10 were still on pre-order which haven’t been collected in over a week. One spare to sell, so I took it and will make a family member very very happy!
Definitely much more stock than the NES Classic that’s for sure. Still not enough though I guess, since I know people who still trying to get one.

I personally love the Nes mini. I managed to pre-order and receive 3 on launch day at regular retail price. I initially bought them as stocking fillers for friends/family for Christmas and one to keep for myself. When I noticed how they instantly became impossible to buy again, I kept them and got them other gifts!
I now use one for fun, I'm a gadget maniac, so for me it's just a fun gadget to have and a real talking point when people come over.
I have pi3's inside sega megadrive (USB hub) cases in separate rooms and one right next to the nes mini and the look on people's faces when they see them, they just want to play them.
For me it's a shame to discontinue it, seeing as there's still a huge demand for it.
If they come up with the snes classic and even an n64 classic, I will still get them, I just love gadgets. [emoji3]

First of the beta carts built up, this is what the final units will look like. Note the little grooves at the top for additional grip when removing the cart.
Fabulous. Simply fabulous.

I've come up with this as a label for the cart:
I've ordered some 46x25 glossy finish labels, so it should look nice. I'll put up some photos when it's all up together...
Love it. Great little extra touch. [emoji3]

Happy New Year to everyone! And a New Years update from me...
I've got a load more time coming up now to get more carts made and shipped out, so I should be clearing the back-log of pre-orders in the next couple of months. I just need to sort out my 3D printer once more as its out of action (again!), then I can get things moving.
Looking forward to it mate. You are legendary.

I had a recapped GG Ready for McWill and shipped it to him from the UK to Germany, in very reasonable time he Modded it with his New Screen and I opted for the Glass instead of the normal GG pasticky front and he sent it back to me and its perfect.
So next step is for me to source a Lynx II to send to him to do these mods to it, I dont want to mod my original Lynx II, keeping that in my Handheld collection.
Fantastic work, very carefuly done, highly recommend his services.I am desperately awaiting his upcoming PCE GT screen mod

I have the 210 with DVC and loved the thing. Bought it new back then, I actually used it more for the VCD capabilities obviously this was before dvd became popular.
Here in the UK we had official licenced VCD releases usually with Philips branding on them I have a good size collection of them, used to love getting movies and manga especially on VCD as the pictures was better than VHS tapes.
I have a large selection of games too, my favourite being Burn:cycle.
My system and discs are all in storage, but I’ll hopefully get them out and photograph them at some point this year!
I also loved the light gun games, getting mad dog McCree day 1 and then part 2 and who shot Johnny rock etc. Fun arcade type games.
I never saw the cdi as a pure games machine and I feel I got a huge amount of use out of it watching video cds and playing games now and again.
Never completed the 7th guest though I’m sure I got quite far!
Lords of the Rising sun was a great strategy game, used to love the ninja parts!
Thunder in Paradise… lol and loved the space ace and Dragons lair games.
I always felt games like Mad Dog looked best on cdi because of the DVC.
I need to get my system, games and movies out don’t I?!
