I thought about that too, but it's only those two games that are acting up. I have over 60 games and there are no other problems. SGM or otherwise. It was really cool of you to respond so fast. I am going to research this more

Cheers to all. I recently tried playing Gradias and Penguin adventure. on my CV with SGM and those two games have issues either resetting during game play or difficulty loading. All work fine on my Phoenix. Their does not seem to be any other issues on any other SGM games. Any ideas or anyone else having these issues?

Can I just say WOW and thank you. Quick ? all 3 games work on my phoenix, but only 2 on my CV.. This happened last year as well. Any Ideas.

was wondering what SD cards work best with the phoenix? two of mine went bad one was a lexar and the other a sandisk. full disclosure, My pc, albeit about 6yrs old is Win10.. I had no Idea there were classes of these cards, Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So after hours of fiddling: I found that 1.The Phoenix and or my pc may not like certain SD card type/brands. Or at least putting system/core files on them 2. I put the core and service pack on the same SD card as my 2600 roms and it updated no problem 3. Maybe too, its best not to uninstall cores, but rather simply to update and replace with the latest one. I hope this helps someone else who may have this issue. I am trying to play with composite. Do you know if the RF output still works if you've had your CV modified. I have both HDMI and composite.

Thank you so much for your response. I am kind of new to starting topics and stuff. It worked just fine with the mod. Ya know, I am not sure if the mod's done to the system render the RF output useless or not. I did a little process of elimination, troubleshooting with the cable of all things. I connected it to my receiver minus video of course and I only got 1 audio channel, So I am getting another cable and another module to test.

I have a working Colecovision with the Atari 2600 module that completely died on me. My Colecovision was modified with both HDMI and composite. I know the expansion port works as I have an SGM, any ideas? Thanks

I purchased a Gana 3 in 1 hdmi switch to use with my phoenix and regular CV. So as to avoid having to plug and unplug the phoenix back in so it would start correctly. I had it for more than a month. I am wondering if its going bad. I was playing DK jr on the phoenix and the cart was glitching. cleaned the cart with contact cleaner. Still glitching. Put it in the regular CV, same issues. Then I noticed my screen would go black as if I was powering up the unit for its 1st use of the day., I removed the switch and played the same cart for a bit on each console,= NO issues. So my though is that maybe the switch is going bad. There is no external power for the Switch it just plugs into the slot on my TV. Any ideas:, Thanks
