I agree, personally it one of favourite Jag games, I always seem to come back to it while a lot of the titles rarely find their way back into the cartridge slot. Some music would definitely liven it up.

I mean everyone is different, I can appreciate that view, but for me the CD library is slim pickings, and this is one of the few outstanding titles that was anywhere close to complete. I'd definitely welcome a fixed copy of AH just like I'd deffinitely welcome a CD release of JHL (which is great in cart form).

Given the relative state of American Hero it's a surprise that nobody has picked this up and worked on the issues for a release. Can't be many if any other WIP games out there this close to running.

I have to say CJ I'm a big fan of the quality of Reboots work, these updates are great please keep them coming as it's exciting to see how a game develops!

Just to be clear I'm all for encouraging anyone to make the effort to bring updated, upgraded, or improved products to the market, but that's not exactly what's coming out of this stable at the moment. This figures banded about of around 70 global sales seems to suggest there's not much of a market for the current approach in any case. I'm supportive both in writing and in buying lots of the games coming through, but don't see why I have to be happy clappy about everything

I don't speak for anyone but myself. I'm not starved of produce, there are plenty of quality new releases that keep me very happy, hope that clarifys Chris.

Look I'm being honest there is some real high quality homebrew development going on for the jaguar, games that are as good if not better than a substantial proportion of the existing game library. The bar has been moved considerably upwards. I mean just look at Lucky Strike and compare it to Video Kid. There's theoretically space for both but I'm honestly thinking what's the point we're not starved for new developments anymore.

I'm all for another FPS, does need completely redone gfx though as there's not much porting something substantially worse than what we already have. Hopefully that's Piko's intention, we don't need any more shovelware

TBF that's a good looking version of paperboy, looks about 9000x more fun than Video Kid is.

Cresent Galaxy gets some hate, but I like it. Played it through a couple of times, missing sounds no problem I stick the CD player on. Can't believe your converting Video kid its slow, ugly and terribly boring.

So ended my first play through with a third place finish in league 1 behind Super Nashwan and Fatal Justice. My thumb is hanging off! Game plays well as I remember, and works well with the jag pad. Shame that the Amiga sound effects weren't included as the ST ones are nowhere near as good, especially miss the voice samples such as 'ice cream ice cream.

How do i save games, the manual says click SAV on the managers menu but all i see where that button should be is a blank button?

Does the retrotink version output via HDMI or DVI? Also is there a UK distributer selling it?
