Just took delivery of a custom-built Suhr set neck modern guitar. It's amazing!

Picked up 2600 Sprint Master for a buck. What a great game. Whoever programmed this one really pushed the console!

Chuck Norris CAN win Impossible Mission on the 7800.

Wife is taking the 3 year old out of town Saturday and Sunday. It's Atari (and sci-fi movie) time!

Got 4 loose 2600 carts for $10: No Escape, James Bond 007, Blueprint and GI Joe Cobra Strike. THe last three were marked $10 each, but he gave me the whole lot for $10. Score!

I love that there are full, hour+ 70s Black Sabbath concerts on Youtube.

At work, eating a falafel sandwich, listening to Steve Vai, and writing Performance Reviews for my team. Good stuff.

Went to an honest to goodness arcade yesterday. Disney's Riverside resort. It was actually pretty good - played Space Ivaders, Qix, and Millipede.

Cool, they have one there too? I've been to Disney Quest in Downtown Disney. I missed out last time I took the family there, but on my Honeymoon (many years ago) that place was off the hook! Also, about a year & 1/2 ago I was at the arcade at the Contemporary. Very cool place and nice setting....seemed '80's like', whatever that means.

Haven't been to DQ in a LOOONG time. $48 entry fee is steep, bu they do have a good selection. Here's my writeup on Riverside's arcade: http://www.gamegavel.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5442&p=32188#post32188

Finally got my Pinbot cart to work on the NES. What a great video pin!
-
Decent day at Flea World - no spectacular deals, but grabbed a bunch of NES games I wanted.
-
Just finished my first Ravenloft book - good, but depressing. Everyone died at the end. Are they all like this?
-
Played 5200 Space Dungeon for the first time today. Thanks Santa (and atari2600.com for their good prices and fast shipping)!
-
NES Gyruss is a really cool version of the game!
-
Dear arcade version of Frenzy: why do I love you even though you're so freaking hard?
-
Only a few minutes of gaming time today. Atari or Intellivision?

I love classic games because after 30 years I'm STILL having fun with them. I can still get a better score, and even if I don't get better, I still have fun just playing them.
