  1. Newsflash: I just saw on Gizmodo that Tronman is selling his plane. I am not Tronman . ® http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...em=160343673314
  2. Good thing you aren't using the Wii See camera attachment for Animal Crossing, or you may scare small children
  3. Let us know how you like it. I'm really intrigued by the Disc Golf...seems like a much more civilized way to play with a group of friends.
  4. That's one heck of a Father's day present... (which is why it's being released now, I'm sure)
  5. The good news for me is that my old PSP phat with custom firmware is still state of the art. The thin and Go versions are just (essentially) the same stuff in a different wrapper. I agree with everyone on here that the PSP Go is overpriced, and should have been a clamshell or sidekick design.
  6. I agree - Mario Kart GBA is my favorite - it is really responsive, and the control scheme is excellent. Single cart multiplayer is great too. I haven't tried Kart on the Wii yet, though...
  7. Pele's Soccer. I loved the fireworks between goals, and the AI was not half bad, making it (at the time) my favorite Atari sports game to play by myself.
  8. Congratulations - my CC2 has given me, and my friends, endless hours of joy.
  9. Disc Golf looks great - I love disc golf in real life...
  10. As a CC2 owner, I know the joy of having a multicart, and have always dreamed of one for the 2600. Great work!
  11. I had one of those moments the first time I played Keystone Kapers back in the day.
  12. I agree with most of your reviews... but not Frostbite. Once you get the hang of avoiding the geese and crabs, as well as eating the fish, you will find the later rounds very satisfying.
  13. You are right - very few 32 bit programs don't work on Vista 64 bit. If you have a Windows XP License, you can download Virtual PC for free direct link to download, as the main site has shifted to the "XP Mode" download for the Windows 7 Release Candidate. Inside Virtual PC, install a Windows XP system and you're good to go.
  14. I have always had fantasies of having the time to fire up my CCII to do a hack of 7800 Mario Bros. with improved sound, featuring Pokey sound chip support. You may be shocked to hear this, but Rhindle's hack of 2600 Mario Bros. is right up there with 7800 Mario Bros. as my favorite console version.
  15. Why don't you find an old 1960's era bomb shelter in your community and use your installation to outfit it as a classic gaming center/teen center? Now THAT would be a great contribution to the classic gaming community! Preserving all the games is much better in conjunction with teaching their awesomeness to the next generation
  16. Since Wii Sports Resort will come *bundled* with the WM+, it should be a no brainer
  17. @Ransom and RT: hey you lovebirds... ransomterrain.com is available
  18. Same here. You do know you have a signature, right? ..Al Now we know why Thomas hasn't tried 7800 development yet
  19. Yes. Sig images make it harder to quickly scroll through and read threads...especially on netbook-sized screens. Leave the fanboyish image sigs to therealred5's favorite internet forum
  20. Yeah, I don't really see the reason for the at all in a forum. They seem to have been carried over from email and USENET for some reason. I've only rarely used one here, and if I use one on other forums usually it's just a simple, one line signature that links back to AtariAge. Some forums are really out of control as far as signatures go, and you're not kidding in terms of that 90% signature and 10% message content ratio on. ..Al One useful purpose for a signature is that it points toward something current -- even on old posts. It can be helpful in some forums, for example, to be a pointer back to a FAQ that the poster maintains.
