  1. Been playing the Nes and the Switch so I'll do one for each: Nes: Jackal, Pin bot, Marble Madness Switch: Hollow Knight, Mario Kart, Animal Crossing
  2. I've been really into the Nes lately and have been considering my options to get better picture quality on the console. I've heard good things about both the Retrousb AVS and Tim Worthington's Nes rgb mod. I've heard conflicting things about whether hdmi or rgb will look better. It will cost me a little more to go the rgb route but not by too much. I've been loving the rgb on my Sega consoles but of course that was simpler/cheaper as those naturally output rgb. Both options seem to have their pros and cons. I've also considered just keeping it in composite since that was the best way you could play Nes back in the day. Could anyone help guide me in the right direction? Any help would be appreciated.
  3. I have an Xbox 360 that I use mainly for Geometry Wars, Netflix and other apps. I have a Wii that I mainly use for Mario Kart Wii. I have a GameCube that I was pretty into when it was newer but now it collects dust. The newest system that I actually care about and would actively play and collect multiple games for is the SNES. Or the GBA if you're counting handhelds. I'm into all of the 8 and 16 bit consoles from 2600 to SNES but with a short list of exceptions 3d games do nothing for me.
  4. Oh and now that you mention it I've played some Miner 2049er on the Flashback and thought it was kind of overrated too. It was okay but nothing special. Didn't click with me the way my favorite Coleco games do. I've heard a lot of people say they love it though.
  5. Hey Bill, which would you say is the more difficult game, Spy Hunter or Burgertime?
  6. Hey guys, is it too late for me to participate in high score club? I just dusted off the Coleco and feel like playing some games.
  7. Spy Hunter was high up there on my list of Coleco games to buy. After reading this thread I'm thinking maybe not.
  8. Yeah I always thought it was a cool game but I was surprised to see what it's going for now. I bought it maybe 10 years ago for around $20. I also remember not quite wanting to pay $50 for M.u.s.h.a. and now it's worth hundreds. I sure do wish I could go back in time 10 years and buy all the Genesis, Snes and Neo Geo games I could get my hands on.
  9. Hey guys, I haven't been on here awhile so my apologies if I'm posting this in the wrong place. I've got a Crusader of Centy loose cart and was wondering about how much it is worth? The prices I saw on eBay were ridiculous so I was looking for a more realistic answer. I'm not looking to make a bunch of money off of the game. Just thought I might trade it for something I may get more use out of. Would it be unreasonable to assume I could trade it for a Neo Geo Mvs converter or a TurboGrafx system? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  10. Hey,I've got another noob question for you guys. I just noticed that the ball on my AES stick is starting to crack. Guess I've been getting too into Sam Sho 2. I was wondering if these are easily replaceable or as should I be looking for a whole new stick?
  11. Anthony, thanks for the info on Viewpoint and the eBay links. That was very helpful of you. I will probably get the PlayStation one for now. It's pretty inexpensive and looks cool. I like that it's one of those early long box games. I don't actually have a Neo Geo CD system yet, just AES. I was thinking about getting one so I can pick up a few of the titles I couldn't get on AES like Viewpoint, Puzzle Bobble and Twinkle Star Sprites. Not 100% sure though as I've had bad luck with other old CD systems (Sega CD, Turbo Duo). Aaron, that was a great video. Blazing Star is such an amazing game and props to you for being able to clear it with 1 credit. Maybe one day I'll get there haha Welcome to the forum !
  12. Hey Anthony, Would you recommend the PlayStation version of Viewpoint or the Neo CD one? The AES one is the best I'm sure but is out of my price range.
  13. Thanks for the info Anthony. I will look into finding a copy. I have been enjoying my Neo Geo quite a bit. Have barely touched another system since I got it.
  14. Hi guys, I was just looking to buy a TurboGrafx hucard system. I've already got plenty of games. I just need a system and a controller. I haven't had a working one in years and I really miss it. Figured I'd ask here before I resort to EBay. Pm me or message me here. Thanks
  15. Hey, was thinking about picking up a copy of Top Player's Golf and was wondering what you guys think of that game? I love the Baseball games and League Bowling so I figured I might enjoy this one as well.
