  1. Have three systems that are doa. Looking for working system or Adam.
  2. I tested the output of the power supply and everything else is fine but Im getting 10v on the 5v line. Can the Coleco handle this? Secondly when I test it on the power switch, the 5v rail is not showing anything. Plan on cleaning or replacing switch. Just curious if the Coleco can pull down the 10v into 5v or need new supply as well.
  3. Two port. Vs four Port. The two ports I've had all had factory mods with wires poorly soldered. Trammiel strikes again.
  4. It's from the factory. I've had several boards with the pin lifted.
  5. I hate posting on this site sometimes. Did you see the picture? Or the topic for that matter? It's an rf shield on a lab loaner. Not a retail game. That's what I was wondering. I have four protos I found in the wild and two I have purchased from other collectors and this is the only one I've seen with a shield. Anyone else seen them? And how frequently? Thanks and sorry if I come across as a douche.
  6. Anyone ever seen one of these before? Always wondered why there was notches on the sides but never came across an RF shield.
  7. I've removed the roms and put them in Atari pcb's to get some of the games to work.
  8. Those won't work. 27c128 is only 16k and 27c256 is 32k. What you need are 27c010 128k or 27c020 256k to make Ned reproductions. You need larger ones 27c1001? I think is a 1 megabit chip for snes. The ones you have are only good for Atari reproductions.
  9. I'd like to be rich and have my mistresses big titties in my face. Kinda demanding there brother.
  10. I have an EPROMs programmer and several 27c256's to spare.
  11. Electrically there's only one top button and one bottom button. It's absolutely impossible to tell whether it's left or right.
  12. I've always wondered that myself. I got river raid sealed as a kid, had no clue it had overlays. Then half the time digging through the markdowns at Zayres the boxes would be all ripped up. But you weren't about to complain over a nine dollar game.
  13. The Wico is not the be all end all. They break down as well. I just ripped mine apart after owning them and not being able to use them for over 5 years. The pots were corroded and the keypad on the command control was cracked. Had to solder some bridge wires and wire up a new cable up as some of the wires were kinked.
  14. It seems that they were. In the decade or so I've been on this board, I've encountered some of the smartest, generous, and kindest people. I've also run across some of the biggest douche bags ever. In reading through this topic I can see why they will never release another Atari game ever.
  15. You sir are playing the Rolls Royce of classic gaming. Amazing to look at. Awesome to play. But forever at the mechanics. Go to Best electronics. You will not be disappointed. Plus no more sending the Rolly out to the shop.
  16. the Sorry for the necro bump, but I managed to take apart the Wico pots. It's not that difficult. I used a set of precision screw drivers and a hammer to knock out the screws/pins holding it together. Then used a small flathead to pry them out the rest of the way. Once apart I used windex and qtips to remove the build up on the resistance bands. Put it on the multimeter and to my surprise I got accurate readings. Fired up defender and the controller now works flawlessly. Now to fix my other Wico.
  17. These are the Atari corp games I own. All of them 1986. I wonder what the reasoning and who was behind the release of the games so late in the game.
  18. If I had the money I'd buy two just because they are brand new. Hopefully they'll still have some at end of July. Bonus time baby.
  19. That's pretty cheap.the last two games I ever purchased were Qix and Ballblazer for 5 dollars each at toys r us in 1986. Last time I ever saw anything 5200 at a store. The Vanguard without the name I got in a lot of 24 games back in 1999.
  20. I've never seen one from 1987. I have the Vanguard without it's name on the label and missile command, choplifter, Galaxian, and I think defender. But they are all copyright 1986.
