  1. I'm starting to hate google. It's just posting whatever gets it the most money now, vaguely related to your "quoted" search terms. What is the best search engine now?

iSeek mixes their results with Google's and provides clustering. I like their clustering a bit more that Yippie's.

Goto - They're back, as a volunteer edited engine like Bubblehunt. First two or three results ate user-edited lists, followed by regular web results. Not sure if they buy the regular web results, or if they've set up an actual crawler-based search engine.

Yooip - Public demo of an open source search engine. 1st page looks good, but 2nd page repeats most of the 1st page's results, as does the 3rd & 4th page.

  2. Is the incompatibility of youtube, facebook, amazon and even the microsoft website with several browsers with Win10 ever going to get fixed? I'm getting really annoyed. Never had these issues until this year.

I liked the idea of these when they were in the $599 to $799 range. $1,299 is a lot of coin for what it is. For just a little more money you could build yourself a 16-core monster with AMD's new Ryzen and have space to toss in a dedicated GPU at any given time to really rock and roll.

Yes, Apple has increased the price of everything they sell, significantly. I've started looking at PC laptops as I'm getting tired of Apple's crap where they seem to only care about making their laptops thinner, at the expense of super shitty keyboards, removal of all but a handful of USB-C ports, gimmicks like the Touch Bar, making machines nigh-impossible to upgrade yourself, and so forth.

There is a console equivalent to the Xavix sold only in Europe called the Domyos, seems to be mostly in France and Spain. Seemed very unique and had a whole bundle for $40, but not worth $150, I think. I know a guy from France that may be able to get something over here.

Generally I think the French post is one of the more expensive ones in Europe. Not sure if Spain is any better, but if the seller lives close to a country border sometimes it can be beneficial to drive to another country and ship stuff from there. In particular the border between Belgium and the Netherlands would be an example of a such zone.

I want to buy the Flashback 9 Gold and unfortunately can't get it from Amazon (also noticed a complaint that something shipped was not the Gold w/the Activision Games, so not sure where I will find it)

@Lord Mushroom I'm saying I type something in the search field and hit enter and it changed the last word I typed and adds two or three wore words I've never enter before. It uses it's suggestion instead of what I type. Other times it just puts a different word in somewhere to what I typed. I like the auto-complete, but it is getting carried way these past few months.
