  1. Anybody know what happened to the Atarinvder.com site?
  2. Not really game related but game art related...(I'm a graphics artist bear with me.... ) Wayyy back when I first bough Imagic's Demon Attack and star voyager games I noticed the cheesy models used in the photos: I had those models! The rubber dinosaurs By ..Arista I think.... (Dimetrodon, Allosaur) were given wings and spray painted silver! Star Voyager is even weirder. They took a Star Wars Millenium Falcon kit, "fattened" up the sides a bit and spray painted IT silver before hanging it upside down (with the radar dish at bottom!) My question is...have any Imagic employees (Rob F. et al) mentioned these, and if they might still exist today? That would be a collectible part of Imagic history!
  3. Here's my problem (well, one of many...). I have three sets of paddles that dont work...well today I found a coleco Gemini Stick/paddle combo and lo and behold the paddle works great! One problem...the button works only on joystick games (I do not have the Gemini system...I'm using this on a 4 switcher and 7800)...HOWEVER it is possible to "activate" the button by jiggling the stick..so I can play BREAKOUT and CIRCUS (awkwardly) but not paddle games that require the button. Interestingly, Indy 500 works ok!!! No driving controller needed! Query...is it possible to rewire the button somehow If not, can "dead" paddles be revived (I'm not talking "jiggles" I mean, no movement on screen atall) thanks!
  4. I was thinking last night (something I try to avoid doing too much cause it gives me headaches...)..if there is to be a silver or golden or whatever anniversary year for VIDEOGAMES, from where would you start counting? The R.H. experiment of the 50's? Baer and the 60s? Ataris first release of computer space or pong or even the first home system? When did it really start? P.S..ouch.
  5. Ahm onwy twee an' a haf yrs owd! bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbpt. ok,38
  6. According to digital press guide #7, "Super football...a few copies exist with 7800 on the end label" so this has been known for some time now
  7. Ok, i hope this doesn't screw up again..I tried posting this ? early this am but I dont see it so i'll ask again... How do you store Xonox double enders, and how do you stack mattel m network carts? POST DARN YOU!
  8. Waitaminnit, wasn't there an ALIEN GO HOME foreign game that said "ET GO COME" on the cover? Sounds like this!
  9. What would you say was the WORST 7800 only game ever made? My vote is JINX! That was a mess! Proof designers were smoking crack before it even existed!
  10. AIR SEA BATTLE 2! With all the variations but updated graphix and no time limits or 99 point scores!
  11. No, the four "unique" sears games were Stellar, steeple, Submarine and the fourth was Super Breakout for a year....I wonder if Atari promised Sears that would always be an exclusive and then reconsidred? anyway, SB is one of my faves.. I thought Sub commander was decent. Thats the hardest to find....
  12. .....sorry for the repetition. My computer locked up and I assumed the first two posts the first two posts the first... ..didn't show up. Loved Groundhog day BTW.
  13. Does anyone habe pics/info on this game? I know it has nothing to do with the coin-op, but I'm curious as to WHAT it is, then?

    Gauntlet?

hope this posts...I've been having trouble doing that for some reason... Anyway, I know the GAUNTLET cart for the 2600 has nothing to do with the coin-op; my question is.WHAT is it then? Any screenshots/answers would be appreciated.
  15. I heard that with every score roll an object (calfs head, skull, etc..) appears as well.. True?
