  1. I've dumped two ICs with 208 games from this Dar Yar using a TL866-3G Programmer. Dar Yar.zip In total there's 14 unique ROMs but they all look like they're just hacks. I've named the unique ones in the zip, Stella names the rest already. On this Dar Yar you switch between the two ICs using the channel select switch on the back then use the game select switch to cycle between them. The second IC has a combination of 2kb and 4kb ROMs and the TV boy style menu at the start. The menu doesn't work to select games on the system at all. Both ICs were dumped in the software by selecting the MBM27C4001, lifting pins 22 & 24 then connecting pin 22-16 and 24-1. Huge thanks to @manterola for guiding me through the process, I would have given up long before without your help.
  2. The two different colours of Space Invaders printed in different places: Red : BT 1989 Blue : Whitways 1990
  3. Found a TV Boy 3 for sale and had to get it (it's the only one I've ever seen). The chips on this one are 2x COB blobs which are soldered on a separate board to the controls and power. I don't have the knowhow to dump this as I have no idea about the pinouts but it looks as though there's enough connections to run traces from. I haven't unsoldered the boards yet.
  4. I think this is the Inc 5 language C016972 version of Space Invaders but all tabs are missing from the box.
  5. As with Backgammon this has all 4 tabs still attached, date and printhouse but no CO number on any of the the tabs. The manual version matches up with the rest of the C016972 5 language versions.
  6. Found a couple of other 5 language Inc versions. This version of Backgammon has all 4 tabs still attached, has the date and printhouse but no CO number on any of the the tabs. The manual version matches up with the rest of the C016972 5 language versions.
  7. Picked up a Junior box which was nearly destroyed and noticed the print house and date on the tab. Is this of interest? July 1990 seems pretty late on in the 2600's life.
  8. Sorry this ones in my collection so not for sale. Here's the Space War multi language version, I heated open the bottom of the box. The tab picture is a bit blurry but you can make it out. The manual also has a matching number to the tab.
  9. It's been a while since I went through everything so I'm a bit rusty on the details. If it's greyed out are you still looking for it? For example I have this Space War with 5 languages on the back. The manual is the 01697.... version but the bottom of the box is still glued.
  10. Yes mine is also PAL it has the sticker on the box. Mine has thick tape across the front of the box so it looks like it was taped to another game. Shops did this sometimes to bundle pairs of games together for a deal. I currently have it listed on eBay, is it worth keeping this box variant? The version in my collection that I've kept is the one without warranty and game program in big letters on the back.
  11. Where about in the world are you? I'd be happy to trade you for something else. Would feel too sleazy just to take it. Edit: Whoops it said it on your name. I'm way too far away.
  12. Nice find, looks like your playing on an Atari 2600+, I think these play the games from memory. Has anyone worked out if you can copy that data over to an SD yet? Would be an awesome use for the 2600+ if this was possible. Your version has "Shooting Gallery" as the name on the label. The final release was "Shootin' Gallery" without the G on "Shootin". Would be awesome if you could get this dumped to find any differences. I already popped him a message on Facebook about this. For some reason my 1st reply didn't go through here (don't think I was logged in). Here's the Facebook post about the PAL version where Dennis replied https://www.facebook.com/groups/atariage/permalink/10159998932440255/.
  13. Thanks, I knew I'd heard that word before. It's one of the standard 128 General MIDI sounds on most keyboards.
  14. Had this SuperVision cartridge arrive today. The Road Blasters label looks like it was just cut out from a magazine and not the original (I was expecting this to just be Enduro). Inside the case had been chopped to fit a board with an EPROM on it. This is a 32 in 1 cartridge originating from the Middle East. There's 9 unique ROMs on here (see attached) but to me they all look as though they're only the originals or logo changes. The same seller has another one for sale which is just the PCB. I'm be tempted but don't want it if it's the same games list. Road Blasters SuperVison 32 in 1 Unique.zip
  15. Nice one thanks, the more you know. I've just split it into 2k & 4k chunks using a HEX editor to make it hard for myself.
  16. This is rad, just downloaded and I'll start chopping them into bits, I'll start from the back if you're going from the start. I've got about 7 different clone machines like this and have often wondered if there might be something unfound lurking somewhere on the chips. Good job.
  17. The bass line for the track (which gives it its name) was made in Synthcart using the keys 8# 9# 6# Contagion 8#9#6# Synthcart.mp4
  18. I made this music video for Halloween using AI images generated by Photoleap then animated using Flash. This video has a reference to the 2600 in almost every scene. Can you work out what it is? I'll post the answer here after Halloween if no one gets it
  19. That's absolutely ace. I love the way you've used original Atari buttons for the fix. Good job
  20. Thanks, I've read through it a couple of times but I really struggle with assembly. I'll persist until it sinks in.
  21. I don't know about them but I'm very much reinventing the wheel. I've turned their code into AS2 to generate the level data. Unfortunately the whole level data doesn't appear to be within the single byte. There's no mention of how the static tar pit, static quicksand, scorpion and walls are placed.
  22. Oh wow that's ace. I wish I had found it before I started. I think I can use this to check the arrays I've already made. Yeah I saw that but maybe the mention will wake him from his slumber.
