  1. My g/f and I are going to Hawaii for the weekend. I'm still waiting to hear back from a few people on some large orders. I'll be back on Tuesday and start going through other people's list if I haven't heard back from the first people by then. So far only 4 games have been paid for. No more orders though, I still have lots of interested people I haven't responded to. Thanks!
  2. I've gotten a ridiculous amount of interest in these games and I'll be sorting out who gets what later today at work when I'm done with whatever "real" work I have to do today. Expect a response from me in the afternoon Pacific Time. Thanks, y-bot I'm working on a couple of large deals and I'll let everyone else know what I have available soon. No more orders please.
  3. All games are loose, most are average or better condition, a few have label damage, lots have stickers, a few have manuals. If you are picky about condition mention it when responding. ALL games $3 each, 5 or more $2 each, no further discounts. Shipping is NOT included, I can ship one game via USPS First Class for $2 in a padded envelope. Larger orders can be sent in a USPS Priority Mail flat rate box. International orders welcome. I'm posting this list on several forums so don't assume because you are first to PM here you are first in line. Priority will be given to large orders. Thanks for looking. 4. I don't know if these are hard to find anywhere anymore but my g/f has a few systems she picked up to resell months ago and since people flag her Craigslists posts constantly it's not worth messing with anymore. She was going to return them but I thought I would offer them here first. $250 + Paypal fees + shipping. Not making a profit but there's no reason to lose money on them either. Thanks, y-bot
  5. There is a also a Music Machine II record and a coloring book. y-bot
  6. The Mattel games in your misc. lot are for the Aquarius. y-bot

  9. He got paid for something. He said he retired when he was 38. He said he worked on a PASCAL version of the Commodore PET and his company was involved in making some Atari games as well. y-bot
  10. He holds the patent for "joystick mechanism" http://www.freepatentsonline.com/4156130.html I'm aware of what VIC stands for but I'm sure it's based on his name as well. y-bot
  11. I don't know if this has been mentioned before but I found an article from 1983 about Romox, Xante, Gameline, Playcable and others here: http://209.85.141.104/search?q=cache:oMLAC...p;client=safari I met a man today who said the VIC-20 was named after him and that he held the patent on "joystick". His name is Victor Ivashin and he was at the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle looking around today. y-bot

  13. http://www.ballyalley.com everything you ever wanted to know about the Bally/Astrocade and more y-bot
  14. That's a flat rate envelope. It won't work with larger items. USPS Priority sucks, you're much better off using Air Mail - it takes the same amount of time to arrive at its destination, it costs two third less, AND it's less likely to get inspected by customs. About 14 days. It depends if they sent it the EL-CHEAPO AIr Mail Parcel Post also. I would get a little uneasy also. There is no more Air Mail Parcel Post. It got killed last year, now there's only Air Mail (up to 4 lbs, 3-5 day shipping, but can take up to 15 days depending on the destination), Priority (2-6 days, way too expensive) and EMS. First Class Air Mail = no insurance Priority Mail International = insurance available All of my work's expensive items are now listed as Priority Mail only for international shipping so we can insure it if the buyer seems questionable. We just got dinged for another Paypal chargeback the other day from some liar in Italy for $300 worth of model airplane engines. y-bot
  15. I think you may be able to do this soon although it may only be for people who ship lots of packages. I just filled out a little from today and someoen from USPS is supposed to be calling me soon. There supposed to be making it so regular letter carriers can pick up International, registered and certified packages. Not sure when they'll start though. Oh yeah, free Priority Mail tape is back! Not that I haven't been getting it since they "quit" handing it out but I think it's available to anyone the post office feels deserves it now. Just ask. y-bot
  16. One suggestion I have if there is a trader forum like on DP is to make sure short names are searchable. When DP changed from one bulletin board to another they made it so you can't search for words shorter than 4 or 5 characters. My "y-bot" feedback topic doesn't come up in a search. I have the link in case someone asks me for it but I'm sure most people just don't bother. y-bot
  17. Got mine today too. Thanks Ant and Shawn! y-bot
  18. http://www.nwpinballshow.com/ I'll be there, you should be too! y-bot
  19. Because I don't understand the values of them. Most of the hardcore collectors probably know which ones are more common but I don't. When I see X game for sale for $200 I would like to know if it's a deal or not. Some time ago I was bidding on some prototypes on Ebay and I was surprised at how low some went for and how high others went for. So basically yeah, I am just curious. No big find on the way or anything like that. y-bot
  20. Which Atari 2600 unreleased games have more than a few copies known? And how many of each? Obviously the questionable Best prototypes are in decent supply but what about the others? Maybe this has been done before but I've never seen a list. Thanks, y-bot
  21. B=boring R=really good G=for grandma DB=double boring P=partially boring
  22. My ass is sore. Why? Because I kick myself every single day for having thrown away a big roll of 16mm film with Intellivision commercials on it. I found that at a library sale a very long time ago. I don't know how or why they showed up there. It wasn't marked. It was just a bunch of film. I had to hold it up to the light to make out George Plimpton. Very strange find and I tossed it. <kick> I would love to have those. Too bad they're gone forever now. A long time ago I remember seeing some Atari commecrcial on Ebay that were on 3/4" U-Matic videotape.
  23. I have an original 16mm film of a Dig Dug commercial. I had it transfered to DVD and it was hosted on Digital Press. Some dude put it on youtube without giving any credit to where he stole it from. y-bot
