  1. You should add "Topps" to your Star Wars sticker lot title and maybe 1980, 1983, ESB and/or ROTJ. There's a ton of different Star Wars cards sets and that will help people find yours. There all from The Empire Strikes Back & Return Of The Jedi. y-bot
  2. I don't know if I have any real photo postcards. Not too sure what the difference is. I am surprised that I have not had a single bid on my postcard auctions. The albums are another surprise too. For whatever reason, I don't seem to do too good with those. Edit: I decided to drop the top price down another $400 to $4,150 Looks like they are mostly real photo postcards. Any that are a "real photo" not a painting. Good luck with your auctions. y-bot
  3. Add "real photo" and "rppc" to your postcard auction title. Real photo postcards are generally more valuable than the painted ones. If you want more money list what it ways on each card. Here's one we just sold for $88! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=380000667911 There's a bunch more mixed in with all the other stuff here: http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MfcI...amp;completed=1 y-bot
  4. From what I've seen there are books for some states and only newsletter type things for other states. Oregon (where I live) has a really nice book but one of our token customers showed me his binders full of lists and newsletters for other states. An Ebay or Google search may turn up someone selling the same token you have. There are lots of websites of people selling tokens but I can't recommend one in particular. y-bot
  5. Make sure you list all the city names in the description, that's probably the most important part. If they were mine I would list all the text that is on each one and the diameter in millimeters. Good luck, I think you'll do well with them. y-bot
  6. Thanks man I have no idea what the coin you mentioned is. You can have it, unless it's ultra rare or something but I'm sure y-bot would have said something. PM me your address, later man It's a copy of an ancient Roman or Greek coin. it even says "COPY" on it.
  7. Everyone brought back the same money from WWII so most of it isn't valuable. You should be able to got to the "main" branch of any bank in a big city and exchange your modern currency. They won't take coins though. y-bot
  8. The tokens that are for buses, street cars, etc (xxx Transit Co. or whatever) and any for paying sales tax are pretty worthless. Any that say good for xxx at xxx are called "trade tokens" or "good for tokens" and those are the ones that have value. It's best if they have the name of the town on them and then even better if it's a small town. Most are worth $2-$20 but some are worth hundreds. There should be a book listing the rarity of each token by city for those states. Looks like you have some quite interesting ones there. y-bot
  9. The half dollars are worth $6 each and up. Not much more than $6 unless they are uncirculated. y-bot
  10. I'll take one please. y-bot
  11. This information couldn't be more wrong. Those people that run ads in the paper will rip you off 100% guaranteed. I'm sure there are plenty of rip-off coin stores too but if you find one that has been in business for awhile they will probably treat you fairly. I believe you misunderstood what I meant. The ones I am refering to are not "fly-by-night" rip off artists. I see a few reputable dealers doing this in my area. They do it twice a year, usually around the time coin collecting conventions are in town. Always check the reputation of any dealer you do business with. It's simple common sense. Maybe there are reputable dealers who run those ads in your area but not around here. The only ads I've ever seen are from companies who travel around the US renting convention halls at hotels to buy stuff for a few days and they pay at least 20% less than we do. y-bot
  12. If you don't know how to grade coins looking at a price guide or on Ebay is only going to make you think your coins are worth waaaay more than they are. On top of that most average condition coins sell for wholesale prices on Ebay. There was a time when they sold for more but not today. I buy coins every day and the vast majority of them I pay at least 70% of what they would sell for on Ebay. There is very little mark up on coins that are worth only their precious metal value. We make a couple of hundred dollars profit on $10,000+ deals every week. Rare or really choice condition coins are different. It's not like video games where a little bit of wear might make a game worth 20-50% less than near mint. Coins can be worth thousands in choice uncirculated condition and a only scrap value in average condition. If anyone wants to know what their U.S. coins are worth post some pics along with the date and mint mark. y-bot

  14. Shawn, there are no American $1 coins dated 1975. They made the bicentennial 1776-1976 coins for two years. There's a Susan B. Anthony $1 from 1981 but it can only be found in sets, they were never put in to circulation. No $1 coin from 1984 and only the American Silver Eagle $1 coin from 1986 that is also 1 ounce of silver. The 1981 coin is worth roughly $5 and the 1986 coin is roughly $24.
  15. i love collecting coins when i get to go to coin shows... your coins if they are morgan coins they are worth something...check out littletoncoin.com its one of my site i go shop. hope this helps Littleton Coin has very high prices. I would suggest finding a coin store in your area and comparing the prices you are paying. I think you'll be surprised.
  16. "Real" silver dollars made in 1935 and before are not pure silver and do not weigh 1 ounce. They have .77 ounces of silver and the melt value is about $16. Eisenhower dollars made between 1971-78 have no silver in them and are only worth $1 if they have been circulated. They did make some Esienhower dollars for collectors that are partially silver that come in either a blue envelope or a woodgrain box. There are also American Silver Eagles made from 1986 until now that are marked $1 but are also one troy ounce of .999 fine silver. If they are old silver dollars the value depends on the condition, the date and the mint mark. Post a list here or you can call me at work later. 17. The link works for me. I'm glad to see someone selling one of these becauase I have one and am curious what the sell for. y-bot
  18. Actually, unless Jetfire is factory sealed in the box....you aren't going to get anywhere near $700 for it. I sold mine last year, along with a bunch of others(Yeah...I used the movie hype to sell them)...but the most I got for any of them was $180. That was for Soundwave(complete in box), and ALL of his cassettes(I bundled them together). Reflector netted a good chunck of change, as well. 3rd in line for top price was Optimus Prime, also CIB. Jetfire went for $65 plus shipping. Yeah I sold a boxed & complete Jetfire right before the movie came out for about $200. y-bot
  19. This guy put it on Craigslist for $500 now: http://southjersey.craigslist.org/tag/589672672.html I was trying to help him out by posting a link to this thread on the KLOV arcade forums and I even forwarded him two messages from people who were interested. Totally lame dude. Thanks for making AtariAge and me personally look bad. y-bot
  20. The box is super rare. There was a small find of sealed in the bag carts with manuals years ago but those seem to have dried up too. I think this game has sold for over $1000 in the past. y-bot
  21. Hey I know that guy too! I ran an ad a couple of years ago and got a few things but my problem was other people copying my ad. It happened several times and not just with videogame stuff. y-bot
  22. Here's some pics of my collection. I have the rifle boxed but it was in storage when I took the pics. 1TL200 BLAK Run 1 console S/N 7773659 "renewed".
