  1. Here's some pics of my puck: I might be willing to trade or sell it if someone wants to offer me crazy money for it. y-bot
  2. it's possible, it happened to me. $6.99 but unfortunately i was young and stupid. the sound didn't work so i took it apart because i thought i was an electronic genius. i ended up breaking it completely. mine came with super cobra. controls worked fine, but the front "bezel" was missing. So do you still have it? I have a collection of broken Adventurevisions. I could probably use yours for parts. Jeff Adventurevision used to fix them. I'm a bit afraid, aside from cleaning and inspection. This guy in CO selling the new AV has sold several NIB ones over the years. He's really mastered the trickling thing. I'm not sure him saying he pulled it out of a case is the smartest thing if he is pretending to only have one. y-bot
  3. I've got one, its in storage though. I'll be moving some of my collection this weekend if I get time. I'll look for it. y-bot
  4. El Destructo, do you find anything around here? I used to clean up in the late 90's but I never find anything anymore. I have a few pickers that sell me stuff every once in awhile but nothing like a few years ago. I recently found out that someone else around here is a much bigger dealer than I thought. I guess that's where some of it went anyway. y-bot I didn't even realize this thread was from 2002. Back then there was tons of good stuff at the thrifts in Portland. y-bot

  6. There's an Atari Video Music in "Over The Edge". The mute kid has it in his room. I've never seen it but I've heard there is a Vectrex shown many times on "Charles In Charge". I wasn't looking at video games when I watched that show as a teenager. y-bot
  7. Are Q*bert's speech symbols always in the same order? If so is the order there in on the hat correct? y-bot
  8. My gf found this today at a thrift. It has the Atari fuji with a registered mark below it and "@#%!". The hat is made by Seba and has no other markings. Anyone seen it before? y-bot
  9. I just used a heat gun to take the labels off of ET and Dig Dug and they came off with no problem. I used some lighter fluid to remove the glue residue and they're totally clean. 1 minute of work tops. y-bot
  10. So you Bought a BBSB Box for $150 and you didn't evan check it first? WOW! Can I ask you why you didn't check out the box and manual? Specially after you allready had a so called bad experience with them. And why would Big Five put a sticker on the manual? I have seen company's put a sticker on the outside of the box, never the manual. Your whole story doesn't make sense to me. The sticker on the poster/manual was for Commodore 64 specific commands. Big Five didn't make a separate instruction sheet for C64, they just put a sticker on the Atari 5200 instructions. I didn't check it out too closely because it was supposed to be brand new. Did I say I paid $150 for it? That doesn't sound right. I think it was $80 or $100. y-bot
  11. I didn't realize you were in Gladstone, most of my family lives there. I live in Sellwood and work in downtown Oregon City. That's where all my extra stuff is. I thought about buying your stuff for a minute but then I realized I need to SELL all my extra stuff not buy more. Looks like a great deal for someone with lots more time than I have. Good luck! y-bot
  12. I don't think the price is that high for a starter lot but I have no idea why a reseller would buy it. y-bot
  13. There, now maybe he won't sell it to some liar saying it's for his "nephew". y-bot
  14. My work got 6 of these in the other day from one of our pickers. Not something I would normally buy but I thought maybe someone here could use them. Still sealed and marked $39.99. I'm asking $7 each + shipping. http://www.hevanet.com/ccorner/eeeee769.jpg http://www.hevanet.com/ccorner/eeeee770.jpg http://www.hevanet.com/ccorner/eeeee771.jpg y-bot
  15. Did you turn down the brightness? There's a knob on the back. I had one that looked just like that. y-bot
  16. phil_vr made me a cool label so I spent waaaay too much time trying to get it to print out to my satisfaction. I think it turned out pretty good. Thanks Philip!
  17. So I'm pretty clueless when it comes to resizing photos and things like that plus my printer sucks. Is there anyone who would be willing to print me out a nice Gauntlet label and mail it to me. There's a decent image here: http://www.atariage.com/cart_page.html?Sys...ItemTypeID=CART I've spent enough time on this and I'm getting frustrated. I'd be willing to pay for your time or trade something for a nice glossy label that's ready to stick on to a standard Atari case. An end label would be nice too. Thanks, y-bot
  18. Perfect, thank you! I was actually looking for that picture but I couldn't find it. I finished it but I can't test it for a couple of days. My collection is in storage so I'll have to piece together a 2600 from the junk at my work (aka my trade pile/room). Is there a printable label for Gauntlet available anywhere? y-bot
  19. I just got one of these and I have a stupid question. I've never assembled a 2600 cart before and I wanted to make sure that the Gauntlet chip goes on the board with the lettering facing the same direction as the original Pac-Man chip. I've removed the original and I have the Gauntlet chip on the board but I wanted to check before I start soldering. Thanks, y-bot
  20. Those 1000+/- Atari auctions shouldn't be on Ebay at all. Right now is the absolute worst time you could possibly auction something on Ebay. Buy It Now items sell well up until a few days before Christmas but auctions are crap. People are looking for gifts on Ebay around this time not adding to their collections. Ebay is probably about 50% of the business I work for and we have 0 auctions running now. y-bot
  21. I've had some Italian customers recently say that their government is holding packages for weeks before delivering them as some kind of anti-terrorism measure. If they paid via Paypal they can file a claim and you will lose the amount that was paid for the game. I hope it works out for you. y-bot
  22. I just got a second chance offer, did you get one ninermaniac? y-bot
  23. Sure you are not thinking of Bearenstain Bears? No, I'm aware of that find. I was really looking for one of these a few years ago and there was a guy who sold several sealed ones for around $300 each. I have no idea if he just found a few or if it was part of a bigger hoard. y-bot
