  1. http://www.nowyoureplayingwith.com/episode-42-ed-averett-qa-at-cge-2k14/ Ladies and Gentlemen... ED friggin' AVERETT!!! Ed was the driving force behind the Magnavox Odyssey 2 library. He programmed 25 games over three years. A huge thank you to Willy from Arcade USA for recording the Q&A and allowing us to post the audio!
  2. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Stevens.DuckFountain&hl=en Our little podcast is slowly taking over the world. Our story about the ducks swimming in the pond at the Bellagio on episode 40 inspired John Stevens to put together an Atari 2600 inspired android game.
  3. Take a drink S1500, it's more CGE talk!!! http://www.nowyoureplayingwith.com/episode-41-cge-post-show-wrapup/
  4. I'm surprised that entire subreddit wasn't removed after gamergate. That is probably the closest we will get to that topic though. It's just toxic all around.
  5. http://www.nowyoureplayingwith.com/episode-40-cge-preshow-show/ Episode 40 - almost live from CGE is up! four people in a hotel room with a shitty blue snowball microphone.
  6. I loved the old Letterman show when he would always make fun of Jake and the Fatman Flow chart for Jake and the Fatman FATMAN | | | V JAKE
  7. The Thin Ice episode of the Intellivisionaries had your best interview segment yet. It's too bad their paths hadn't crossed all that much, Keith and Fatman would be fantastic for a podcast or their own panel. and poor will
  8. She insists that is what she had as a kid. She was very young during the Atari 8 bit heyday so you could say she is misremembering, but that memory is so specific it's hard to discount. we will probably never know the whole story.
  9. thanks! we were a tad delirious while recording it, but it kept us from overthinking things.
  10. http://www.nowyoureplayingwith.com/episode-39-atari-7800-retrospective-part-2-the-podcast-of-the-professionals/ Episode 39 is up! More Atari 7800 talk! Hardware, Homebrews, and Head-to-Head challenges!
  11. you dont need to be there for the whole tournament. if you want to drive, you can crash at my place for a night to save some money.
  12. are you sure you can handle a 50 degree mid-march pittsburgh day?
  13. rick from the intellivisionairies is from pittsburgh. everyone else is scattered about, but PAPA is a great reason to visit.
  14. and there is a primanti brothers just up the freeway from PAPA HQ, a perfect place to record a pinball hangover podcast. https://www.primantibros.com
  15. the next one is March 11-15. put it on the calendar. it is the only event they will hold next year.
  16. http://papa.org/papa-tournaments/papa-world-championships/papa-18-world-championships/ S was discussing picking up a firepower pinball table on our FB page and it got me thinking that we should consider doing a Pinball Podcaster Cup at next year's PAPA world championships. Rick lives in the Pittsburgh area Ferg is about five hours away in Delaware We are three hours away in Columbus S would have to either fly or make a long drive, but with six months of planning time, something can be concocted. https://www.flickr.com/photos/itatton/7777772310/ That is just the back third of the buliding... it must be seen to be believed.
  17. This sums up Wacky World of Miniature Golf http://youtu.be/qtMi8DlPOH8?t=11s
  18. Here is an idea.. take some KS money and use it to buy one of the consoles they talk about. An Intellivision and a few games is not terribly expensive.
  19. We were getting worn down from playing a lot of not-so-great games. the plethora of terrible flight sims were really the worst. all of which made Super Skateboardin' that much more refreshing when we played it.
  20. interesting that you didn't like galaga. I think had this been the first home port in 1984, it would be better remembered. the sg1000 version (virtually the same a colecovision) is pretty terrible (no challenging stages)
  21. http://youtu.be/C77ieR3KhPY?t=11m17s Thanks, Eugene! I am eagerly awaiting New York Minute 2
  22. It's funny, I thought this episode would fall flat as we didn't like many of the later titles. As always, thanks for the words of encouragement!
