Me playing around with GamePass is a lot like me playing around with Rom collections.  I keep sampling everything there, but never actually playing anything for more than a few mins.

Kinda neat to think that in some mirror universe, people spam Youtube with videos that are nothing more than links to their forum posts.

Decided to give Halo Infinite a shot since it’s “free” included with Gamepass, starting today.  

• So I downloaded it, which was something like 25 GB.   
• Then had to wait until 1PM est to play the Campaign.
• Logged in right after 1PM, and was told I had to download a 4 GB update before it would launch.
• Downloaded the update and launched
• Now, in the game, it tells me I need to go to “options” to download the campaign.  Which is another 25 GB.

While it’s downloading, I’m gonna go dig up some old articles preaching the promise of “convenience” regarding this whole downloadable digital delivery stuff.  Just for a laugh.
 

Giving Persona 5 a shot. It had a flashback.  And in that flashback, it cuts to another flashback.  And in THAT flashback, it cuts to another flashback.  Not sure what the heck is going on, yet.

Was having breakfast this AM, looked at my eggs, and got the inspiration for a totally new, never before thought of video game character.

Trying to do a factory reset on my XBox One to get it ready to sell, but it's making me log in and download a huge update before wiping it all clean.

Used my new “contactless” debit card today, for the first time.  Tapped the card, then had to press “debit,” then had to press “ok,” then had to press “yes,” then had to type in the pin, then had to press “ok” again.  So in total, I had to touch the card reader 9 times to use my “contactless” card.

A cold rainy day, no work, a big box of Fruity Pebbles, and Wizards and Warriors on NES + 15" CRT combo.  Great day so far! 

Anyone know a place (or seller) where I can buy a couple hundred NES Styrofoam inserts?   Websites I found via Google won't reply, and sellers on eBay seems to be sold out.

Figured it was time for a display name change to bring my profile more in line with gaming/other site usernames

Anyone happen to know the radius for the corners on NES Cartridge labels?  I'm testing a few label designs and plan to pick up a simple corner-cutting tool, but not sure what size to get.  My google searches are coming up short as well.

I've always been a fan of the Assassin's Creed series, but didn't give Unity a chance because it was a buggy mess at launch. Now, 4 years later, I figured it's time to get caught up with the series. Unity is fantastic so far!

Not sure which game to start next.  Looking at Knack 2 (loved the first), Hat in Time, or the Shadow of Colossus remake.

Gonna upload a cover photo to my profile when I get home.  Anyone know what size is a good fit, if it even matters?

Life’s 2 big “impossibles”, so it seems -  following the arrows in a parking lot, and simply ignoring a troll online.   People just can’t seem to do either of these. 

First game finished for 2020 -- The Witcher on PC.  Also, if I ever need to apply for a job as "errand boy," you'd better believe I'm gonna use that as my main qualification.

Bluehost renewal price last year was 17.99 per year.  This year --- 611.64 for 3 years.  No changes were made.  WTF?

I don't normally ooh and ahh over "special editions" of games that have a lot of junk I wouldn't buy otherwise, but man... those Castlevania sets on LRG are really tempting.

Just finished Ys SEVEN. Great game, but that final boss was every ounce the bullcrap that I've always heard it would be.

After playing a few hours, Fire Emblem Heroes really just seems like oodles of content (great) but not once ounce of actual gameplay. Big Fire Emblem fan here, but I don't know what they're going for with this thing, other than a quick cash grab.

My Playstation Classic has gotten more use than any of my “mini consoles.” I’ve been using it to hold down the corner of the Christmas paper to help with wrapping presents.
