728,100 This game gets nuts and I really have to force a slower pace to keep from being overwhelmed. I really like it, though, and am amazed at some of the variety. Like, the mission right before I croaked, you're riding a mine cart while trying to lasso hostages. I was like "well this came out of nowhere..." I think it has the makings of a masterpiece if they had eased up a bit to not be hampered by flicker and slowdown. ☹️

Space Harrier -- 7,057,580 Made it to Stage 9, which is the same "cramped up mess" as Stage 4. I developed a habit when playing Super Thunder Blade a LOT as a kid -- I would constantly move in an infinity/figure 8 pattern to (seemingly) be harder to hit. The habit stuck, as I keep instinctively doing that here. I could probably do better if I stop that and focus more on killing enemies. Edit: I just noticed it says "Cowntdown" ?

Afterburner -- 293,400 I love Afterburner, but I've spoiled myself by playing the 32X version quite a bit lately.

Wait till you're in a tank and you get pushed around and straight bullied by a pig. That's the stand out feature for me so far.

I don't think the brass back in Washington would have believed all those hostage accidents were truly accidents.

I don't think so. I think all the evidence posted for that has been Tommy flapping his yap about how other companies should have money in escrow, but I've not seen anyone post evidence of them saying that golden rule applied to them, too.

That’s a good point and I agree completely. This though, I believe the lack of any proof is proof enough. There are so many people scrutinizing every single detail of this thing, hard to imagine anything is missed, including the pandering to their "proper target" audience. Any positive reception would have been brought up 10x for each detail by Tommy and team, and any negative reception would have been drudged up here, Reddit, youtube, etc by them dadgummed gamer racists haterz types. We may not be 100% in tune and active in those “target group” circles, but they’re not secret clubs or anything, so those interested parties can and would snoop in there and see what’s up.

823,400 Made it to stage 9. Usually, I like to make it a point to finish these games, whenever possible, but not sure that's gonna happen with this one. Only at Stage 9 and I see there's 23 stages in the game, based on the link asponge posted. Also from that link, I see I'm a dumbass... this whole time, I've been collecting the POW icons thinking that it's supposed to increase my shot power (and wondering why it doesn't feel like it increased my shot power any) and feeling bummed out when I accidentally get the energy tank. Now I see the Energy Tank is 3X better than POW and POW doesn't do squat to my firepower. ? I was like... "maybe it's not working because I've maxed out my offense or something" ?
