My only issue with this release, and it is a minor one. Is that it doesn't play the next songs automatically. It just loops the song you have chosen from the playlist. It would have been nice if it did provide some fade out after a bit on each one and then went to the next so the cart can just be left in the system, turned on and then enjoyed in the background. Most of his other releases have done that so it is odd to not see that here and I wonder if there was a technical reason for that?
I know the songs loop and were designed that way, but then the actual digital album has cutoffs for each song in place so again, just curious?
My thoughts exactly.

Recently I let some 16 year olds play 2 player Checkered Flag comlynx, and between races I would let them switch the Lynx 1 with Lynx 2.
They both said that they preferred the Lynx 1 (just sliiiiiiightly) over the Lynx 2 in terms of holding comfort and the big sound.
But they thought the Lynx 2 was cooler in terms of aestetics and the smaller design.
In the end it didn't matter that much to them as they enjoyed both Lynxes and would not prefer the one over the other for some good gaming action

Years ago, a member with username Tyrant, sold original Jaguar controllers which he had modified with a (clicky) rotary knob.
It seems (to me anyway) that if you wanted a rotary controller, he was the man to buy from.
Then someone also started selling Pro controllers with a rotary knob on e-bay.uk, and there was talk about it here on AA because he used Pro's for that.
I recall another member with username Atari_Owl mentioned slightly concerned what a waste it was as he was developing a 3D game for the Jaguar with Pro controller support, and Pro's were not available in large numbers as opposed to the standard controller.
The last we heard was that this seller had some kind of serious accident and did not fully recover from that (therefore not mentioning his name).
Looking at the controllers in the e-bay listing it seems to me that those are the Pro's that he used to sell, although this auction is probably not from the person producing these back in the day.
Feel free to correct me if I am wrong

Just placed my order also, I am curious to try this one out on the Jaguar.

Yeah that game is hard, same with Braindead 13. I watched videos of it working for people and I just cant get those timing clicks down.
With DL I played pretty far into the game, but never finished it, and atm I can't recall why I didn't.
I finished B0D13, the last scene is funny, but with a long chain of different inputs.
For both games I wrote down the moves and mostly discovered the correct ones through trial and error.
In my experience is BD13 the most playable.
Space Ace's gameplay is broken imo, but maybe someone has played through the Jaguar version?

Necrobump of my own thread.
I am curious if anybody else has defeated level 79 in the last decade and a half.
I haven't, and I realize that saying "but I was so busy, I couldn't find the time" isn't a very good excuse after 15(!) years
Your necrobump gave me reason to play the game again.

Great, at least you "got it"
Don't hesitate to share your opinion of the game once you have played it!

I think they just messed up the description, the screenshots look like the Atari ST version.
Looking again at the screenshots and comparing those with the video in madman's post (above) it looks to me as Amiga screenshots

With the description, they also placed screenshots of the Amiga version?

As I was just looking to buy the game, I saw that you have to sign in with a google, apple or facebook account?
Is there an other way to buy, or have I overlooked something?

Yes, Rampart is much fun, even more in 2-player comlynx.
Is is kind of addicting to repair -and more challenging, expand- your castle in the short time you're given between battles.

As I downloaded and played the demo just recently, I have to say that I like this game very much.
The graphic style is great and the little details too, as the color of your bullets change according to the underlying background and the little dots that remain when you shoot an enemy.
Ship movement is slow indeed, but it matches the pace of the game/movement so as a whole it plays very well imo, this is in 60Hz. mode
In 50Hz. it's a different experience, the gamespeed is a lot slower, and so much that the action takes a big hit and is not much fun to play, IMO.
Also as the screen shrinks in size, there is a huge black bar below the display, and not above as if it is not vertically centered.
This demo is almost 6 months(?) old, so I can imagine that changes for the final release have been made.

We can make fun of that cake, but let's be serious
It looks like they put some effort in making that cake, all the details are there, very nice.
Years ago we had a few times a Atari-day in Holland, and I can imagine that an E-Jagfest event is just as much fun!

Okay, I got to play Xenowings here at PRGE, and it's awesome. Does anyone know if it will support use of rotary controllers? The Jag directional pad just wasn't responsive enough for me.
Watching the trailer this game looks great
What do you mean with the responsiveness of the directional pad, is it the movement-speed of the ship?

It's taken me years to do, but I finally did it!
The last two games I wanted for the system arrived in the mail today, putting me up to 25 cartridges and 8 CD games. All of them are complete, and a decent chunk of them were even still new when I purchased them.
It's just nice to finally have everything I want for the system.Although maybe I'll reconsider some of those games I thought were duds...
Now you have made me curious of what the games are that you want(ed) for the system!

You copy of Aircars, I "think" is legit.
The Battlesphere, I am quite sure is legit.

I don't know about your electronic repair skills, or knowledge of how electronics work.
But if I may, I suggest you take the unit -including all the original parts that you dismantled/removed- to an electronic repair shop for a diagnose.

Ha! thats not a review, it's a biased semi write-up of actual non facts about the game.
It can't be taken seriously in any way

Zarlor is my most played lynx game by far. Even more than California games! Love it. Great graphics, music, gameplay, and length of game.
Yes, and the graphical details in the game are amazing.
This title shows what the Lynx is capable of in almost every aspect.
I can imagine way back when the Lynx was new this must have been a very impressive/next-gen game.
