Notice on WoW that it is marked as "Preview" along with others like Space Shuttle, Winter Olympics . . . but Gorf is not? Go figure.
yup! noticed that..it's too bad these were never released because at the time i loved all CBS software games and i would have flipped if they would have came out for the Intellivision

25 copies each?
I'm in.
I will surely want one copy of whatever BSR is willing to release.
That said, I hope there's the chance to increase the availability to avoid speculations and stomachaches.

I guess you were one of rich privileged kids. Outside of school I was not allowed to play or even socialize with the rich kids. Times were much different growing up in the lste 70's and early 80's.
naw not rich more like spoiled only child lol

Upon further review, the Intellivision III (upgraded STIC but otherwise pretty compatible) was aimed at 1983, but it wasn't the crash that killed it. We made lots of money in 1982, and an early 1983 release could have happened if it had been ready (maybe it would have stopped us from sinking so much money in the Aquarius). The Intellivison IV (which might have ended up as Intellivision III) was probably aimed more at 1985, or maybe late 1984, but the crash did affect that by mid-1983.
crash or no crash i think that would have been too much product..i mean Intellivision 2 in 1983,Intellivision 3 in 1983 and Intellivision 4 in 1985 wow..i mean i would have loved it but i think that would have been way too much for the consumers

Definitely back in the early 80's no one had more than one system and you knew who had the other gaming systems
Best friend had Atari 2600
Another good friend had Intellivision
Another good friend had Colecovision
I had a Vic20 then C64
And my cousin had Atari 5200
i had every system on this list in 1984 except the C64 which i got in 1988

This has always bothered me because i really think the Intellivision sold much more than the 3 million units that have always been stated
i mean i had 4 of them myself from 82 to 84 and 40 years after release there is still lots of consoles on ebay

I cannot seem to add a second player. I have 2 joysticks plugged in, and the keypad seems to do nothing. I can only seem to start the game in 1p mode.
A manual online says "pull back" and press the button....but doesnt seem to be working.
Any advice?
press lower red button then pull back

That game was awesome! What about Galaga 88 4 player co-op and/or versus mode?now THAT sounds great....Galaga 88 is what all sequels or remakes should be...making you feel like your playing the classic arcade game but taking it to another level and almost making the original classic game obsolete..sorta like what All Star Baseball on the Intellivision does to the original Baseball game
-
i don't think a Galaga remake is needed..Galaga 88 CAN'T be improved on..that game is amazing

Speaking of Karateka (I had it on my Apple IIc).... does anyone remember the Bruce Lee game? With the lanterns? That was a cool one! Had that on my IIc as well.
Bruce Lee was an amazing game i had it on my Atari 800xl and the c64 in the mid 80s..now that would make a great couch co op where one person is Bruce Lee and another person is that green dude Yamo that chases him and another could be the ninja

Meh. No personalities. No characters. I get that it was an early fighting game, but if that's a possibility (which I don't see why it shouldn't be) then a Ye-ar Kung Fu type of game, with actual fleshed out characters would be much better.
The possibilities of the touch screen on moves is endless. Swipes, gestures, sweeps, circles etc. to pull off moves is tantalizing.
you must be a big Neo Geo fan then there are SO many fighting games on that system..good ones too

Funny how SF gets no love, but that AWFUL Karateka (The absolute WORST 7800 game) gets votes.
No taste!
Karateka was great on the Atari computers

I remember when the Intellivision ESC came out I bought it like 2 weeks after it was released and I paid $169..I would call Toys R Us every week to see what games it had for it and I would get the same Scooby Doo,Mind Strike,Jetsons every time I would call..thats when I realized nothing new was coming out and I basically wasted $169 lol

question about Super Action Baseball and Football
in ColecoVision / Adam
Posted
were both games rushed to the market?..because both of them don't feel complete at all and they are not up to the quality of the normal Coleco release
i remember enjoying Super Action Football when i got it in 84 but now i see all it's flaws and it's pretty much unplayable
Super Action baseball is a complete mess other than the Pitcher/Batter screens
