  1. The camera update looks good! Definitely more immersive experience!
  2. Hi Albert, I've sent you a PM as I'm interested in this as well. Thanks!
  3. I'm hoping on a long shot MS goes with Battle.net for PC branding over the counterintuitive Xbox name. Maybe a small chance they'll allow Blizzard to spin off when it's all said and done.
  4. That's what mine does. Recorded a video of it:
  5. The Sega Dreamcast screws are the same.
  6. Thanks again for helping me out Gunstar. I'm looking at the ribbons right now on the board and they seem to be fine. Do I need to pull them out to pull the board more than an inch away from the case? I can't seem to get a good look at it and it looks like it would be very hard to put the wires back in once if I pull them out. As far as meeting up again, I'm free during the day if you want to drop by sometime. Right now I'm kind of dependant on everyone else for rides and it's late evening time when everyone gets off work.
  7. Right. I purchased it off of Ebay and the seller mentioned that it was stored in his garage for some period of time. I would never store any of my valued electronics in my garage. Even though the weather is very temperate here in San Antonio, I still wouldn't even consider it. One more question: Once all 4 screws are removed, are the ribbons the only things holding the board onto the Lynx?
  8. Well I had already cracked it open and taken a quick look over things last night and I saw several small areas of corrosion on the back of the board I thought that it could be possible that this was causing the board not to get full power. I got some rubbing alchohol and cleaned up 99% of the corrosion but it didn't do much good. I'll take another look later today and see what I can't find. If it IS the LCD, would you happen to know the part number? Thanks
  9. I have a Lynx II and it wasn't working when I purchased it. I got it a couple years ago off of Ebay for cheap and they said that it worked last time they played with it but it had sat in a garage for some time. Turns out, it was missing one of the battery terminals (both the positive and negative). So I o Well I decided to break it out the other day and bought a new power adaptor for it. I recieved it in the mail today and I plugged it up and the screen blipped for a second and then turned off. I tried again and couldn't get anything else from it. Well I headed over to Gunstar's to look out my Jag CD Unit and brought the Lynx to him as well. He was able to resolder a new Battery Terminal and we finally found some older batteries to pop in it and VOILA! It powered up just fine. Then it died on us again. We assumed it was the batteries. I got home and put fresh batteries in it and it powers up fine with sound and seems to work GREAT except for one thing: The screen doesn't seem to display at all. The backlight works fine but I can't get anything from the screen. Any ideas? Is this common? Is it salvageable or am I forced to buy another? Thanks!
  10. That's the standard Jag Controller. If you have one with 6 red buttons, two L and R trigger buttons on top, and a slightly differnent plastic mold, that's the pro controller. The only other controller I'm aware of is the Rapid Fire Controller manufactured by Songbird Productions.
  11. I saw that. Gunstar and Jagmod were going at it for a bit then someone named something squirrel ended up getting it. Ah well, figured I'd let someone else know because I don't have the money to get one now but I was hoping atleast an enthusiast would get it.
  12. I'm not sure if this has been posted before or not, but I just wanted to post this in case someone was looking for a catbox. Appears to be in good shape plus you get a Jag and controller. 3 hours left on this CatBox!!!
  13. Gunstar, Thank you very much for your reply. Following the guide on Linkovitch's site, it appears he just bought a new CD Transport Tray. I'm wondering how much in $$$ it's going to run me (he paid 28 Euros)? It doesn't seem to impossible of a task however, I don't have a soldering gun anymore. If you have any ideas on where I could order a new CD Transport Tray or if you happen to have a soldering gun, I might could use your help. Again, thank you for your advice and help. I actually live in Schertz. So it sounds like we might be pretty close. Thanks, Matt
