What is normal/expected when advertising a yard sale that will have vintage video games for sale? We're planning now and I want to make sure those interested know about it.

This is my favorite feature on AA. It's nice just to say hi once In a while. I think I've left the house maybe 20 times in the last 2 years. Working from home, health is poor, doing my best to stay active. Trying to play guitar again, haven't touched it in years. So I guess that's my status for now. ✌️

Is there such a thing as a multi game mame board? Something that I can build a cabinet around and simply plug into a monitor and controllers? I googled but I'm unsure of what I'm finding...
-
I think most people looking for that are probably going to use a Raspberry Pi. It can be just the board running the software, so you don't need an expensive case etc. Just gotta keep the chips cool (just like any board).
I've never done it because I have so many old computers that can run MAME that I just haven't bothered with RPi.

I feel like long statuses should have a feature to expand so we can read the entire message.?

Food for thought: which retro console would make the best multi game arcade cabinet?

Y'know, I imagine I am completely wrong, and certainly not beefing on anyone else for their own ideals, but for as old as some of the early disc based systems are, I still don't quite put them in "retro" yet.
(Remember when Guns and Roses showed up on classic rock stations...?)
Teasing, but I do mostly play mid 80's cart based systems-
I have a(n old)"supercomputer", last thing I was playing before I got trapped in high scoring was Formula One 2015, I think, it was super nice.
Well, I "regressed" for several years, some sporadic PS2 and all(Activision anthology doesn't quite count as "modern..."), but about a year or so ago I got an OG X-Box, never had one before, and played MotoGP2 for a good while.
To me-the modern Formula one was certainly better, sharper, etc, but it still amazed me, when I looked at how "old" the MotoGP2 for Xbox was, at how good it looked.
I'm not the Retro Police, lol, I swear, that's just how I imagine retro, in my kinda uneducated, closed minded world.
I think the reality is, I'm just old...
:P

My boss joked in a team meeting about getting rid of a developer to pay for client's server upgrades. He didn't laugh. I got a bad feeling about 2022. ?

@Frozone212: are you sure about that? I know two people in the Redmond, WA area who would disagree with you based on their experience.

Is there any way to make retroarch see my analog gamepad as a paddle controller?
-
Can someone help me configure retroarch? It scanned and found my ST games but after that I don't see them.

Second vaccination today. ??

I've been self quarantined since last march, and now I'm coming down with a cold. o_O.

I've been taking Zinc and Quercetin the past few months in the hopes that they might help me avoid random sicknesses. Haven't gotten sick so far, but it might be a coincidence. (I also take D3, C, and other stuff.)

There are so many games on the Atari Age store I would love to buy. I wish there was an option for digital download only. I really don't have the room right now.

Requesting a refund on my Amico founder's edition. I don't need this kind of drama in my life.

Ebay really screwed me. They didn't charge enough for shipping and then Paypal wouldn't use my checking account to pay the high shipping costs. (flat rate raised to $21! o_O)
-
You can't rely on what ebay thinks the s/h will be. You have to put the item(s) in whatever container you want to ship in, then measure the exact weight and dimensions and put that into the shipping area on the listing form then the buyer will have to pay for the full price. You can buy neat little digital scales for like $10 off ebay. I use mine for baking too (homemade pizza, yum). Or is it a case of ebay's USPS flat rate prices are not up to date? I hardly ever ship flat rate. I usually just use a custom size box that's small as possible.

So...You had a Better experience than I when trying to use ebay's shipping business! (Heh),...Yeah I tried that mess once...I ended up having to ship it on my money anyway and waited 6 months for a Post Office refund because of ebay's "Convenient shipping labels" (Which weren't right)...Never again, but shipping is always the X Factor unfortunately. Someday I may try 1138's idea, but it always seems to backfire...

This weekend I watched Reigo King of the Sea Monsters and Raiga God of the Monsters on DvD. If you like daikaiju movies they were pretty good. The second one was hilarious.

I just lost $17k from my retirement account. I am so screwed. o_O

Italy is doing very badly right now.
