  1. I was always interested in playing the newer versions of Cloudy Mountain, Night Stalker and Moon Patrol (to name a few). Unfortunately, this may not come to be on the Amico. Perhaps the games will be ported to the other consoles (please not on phones!). On the positive side, I'm excited that my Evercade has my classic Intellivision itch scratched with it's 2 collections! All I wanted was a cart with Cloudy Mountain and that comes out in a couple of months! My old school Intellivision game collection will be on the two collections! Who knows, perhaps they will release Amico games on the Evercade! Now.... Wouldn't that be something?
  2. I was lucky when I ordered my initial orders from a Canadian distributor and grabbed the two NAmco collections. I was on their site looking at the upcoming orders and noticed the Namco collections are no longer on the site (not just sold out but removed). Oh well... I'm sure the market will go a bit crazy on Feebay in the coming months. I enjoy these two... I have yet to play the Splatterhouse games so I have them to look forward to. Funny thing with these collections is once one is in the system, it tends to stay in the system for quite a while. lol
  3. Is it my imagination or have the Namco carts become unavailable in North America? I know they are losing the license soon but other than something like Amazon, the North American retailers are no longer carrying the Namco collections. On a fun note... that Renovation collection is starting to hit with the reviewers and comes out in a couple of weeks. I'm going to be grabbing this collection for some shoot em up action. Other games on there will be a bonus! I'm passing on the Gremlin cart though... nothing on that cart that interests me... well that one Utopia game is pretty cool, but the rest is a pass. Now that Intellivision collection 2 is an instant buy! Oh an that Morphcat looks like it will be a lot of fun!
  4. As a fan of shooters like Raiden, would these shooters scratch the same itch for me? The majority of my shooters was on 8 bit systems and limited on 16 bit... as long as they aren't the bullet hell type. I can find some fun with most but not the bullet hell. Hack n Slash platforming sounds good as well... you're doing a great job selling me on this collection! Perhaps I will order this one after all... it's not like a huge dollar investment either. As for Gremlin, I still don't see much of anything on that cart that I want to play. Utopia does look something of interest but the rest of the games... not at all.
  5. I know nothing about the Morphcat Games collection but upon looking into the Micro Mages info, I remember thing a couple years ago about picking up a NES and getting this cart. Once again, Evercade is here to same me some money! lol This two pack of releases (Morphcat and Intellivision 2) will be an instant pre-order for me! I passed on getting the Gremlin collection as nothing on it grabs my interest and the Renovation collection will require some more investigating as I don't recognize much from it. I read about people being excited about some Genesis/MEgadrive classics but I didn't spend much time with the 16-bit era.
  6. I'm in on this collection for Cloudy Mountain and Tower of Doom. Skiing will be played often as well but isn't what makes me want to purchase this collection. Auto Racing is a game I always like to play until I play it for a few minutes and stop playing as it looks so good but something about the movement makes me want to stop playing. lol All the other titles will get an opportunity but I don't envision myself playing them after that. Really... I'd have bought a Cloudy Mountain cart on the Evercade. The fact that they are including Tower of Doom on the same cart is icing on the cake!
  7. Supercross is a game that should have never been released. That frame rate is unreal. Not even worth having on a multicart for free. How desperate was Atari to release a title to allow something this bad to hit the market. Yes, I do not like this game and it is THAT bad.
  8. Well now that I've sold everything, I guess I better get to work on that Atari 2600 stuff that I was talking about. lol Thanks again everyone for your purchases!
  9. I was never a Adventure ISland or original Wonder Boy fan... played Wonder Boy in the arcade and on the SMS and they were good but not something that I care much for. Wonder Boy in Monster Land is one of my all time favourites! I loved the arcade and the SMS version! I was super fortunate to own this on the SMS and I'm grabbing the arcade port for my Switch. The later titles were interesting as well but I never saw them until I borrowed a remake of one from the library for my PS4. Pretty good but no nostalgia glasses so I played it for a while but lost interest after a few days (this was the one with the Frog, Lion etc forms that you unlock).
  10. I know I've ordered a lot of games from Videogamesplus.ca and they offer free shipping on orders over $50. The games are priced right as well.
  11. Speaking of the NTSC Glacier Patrol... sigh... I bought that from Telegames online back in the late 90's I think (it was when I started getting back into building my collection) and then I sold it off a couple years later. It was likely the rarest 2600 title I ever owned (and it was CIB to boot!). Oh well... I don't recall the gameplay so it couldn't have been all that great so I'm not missing it.
  12. And adding a second controller for $25 brings it up to $275... add the limited edition goodies (poster, cart case etc etc) for another $25 brings it to $300. So then a $50 premium for an out of stock item isn't bad. lol
  13. Unfortunately I was hit with an additional fee of about $50 (duty and taxes) when it was shipped to me. I can include shipping in the $350 price above. I should update the listing... which I will do right now to indicate that. Ebay has been crazy (that really isn't new though is it) with these Evercades eh?
  14. I came up with a price. Of course, the prices of everything are open to some sort of negotiation. Let me know your thoughts.
  15. It's been a while since I've sold some goodies but it's that time of year where I put some goodies up for sale. I ship from Canada so please keep that in mind as shipping times could take longer than normal. I've sold to many users on AtariAge over the years and you can see my feedback is top notch! Here's a starter list of what I have for sale. Nintendo DS Dragon Quest IV - Brand new and sealed -SOLD Dragon Quest V - Complete -SOLD Dragon Quest VI - Complete -SOLD Other odds and ends Pac Man Arcade Mini #14 - SOLD Space Invaders Arcade Mini -SOLD Spy Hunter Arcade Mini #16 - SOLD I have some Atari 2600 goodies to be added (homebrews and original releases) which should be listed this weekend (Feb 5/6) but I need to test things and get them sorted. That's a good start. More to be added in the coming days. Thanks for checking out my goodies!
  16. I wasn't a fan of the QBert reboot as using the PS4 stick wasn't great for control. I would have liked a old school joystick for that one. I think I played Xagon back in the day... was it ported to the C64 at some point? If not, then I must have played the Atari version at my buddies.
  17. Interesting to see the availability of digital versions being available... I like it! Does this mean Atari Age will be selling the digital versions of this game in addition to the physical collectors edition? Regardless, this looks like a fun title that just appeared out of the blue!
  18. I know the box it's in is small but not so small to get lost easily. Is your item delivered with DHL? I was watching the van on my phone to see where it was in my neighbourhood the other day. Stopped watching and an hour or two later, the guy dropped it off. I was thinking you could track the delivery van but if it's now lost... well that just plain sucks!
  19. Good to be a huckster... err I mean the seller of these trendy things. As a consumer, it's nothing to get excited over. But... do whatever you like. I'll be staying out of it. lol
  20. Just wanted to drop a quick post about the Intellivision collection 1.... it is amazing! Played it last night and will be doing so again this evening! So many fun titles to choose from and I will explore more titles on it today. Night Stalker is just as fun as I remember. I'll play more of it today. lol The homebrew was an interesting Ghosts and Goblins tribute. Liked it as well. Snafu is a beauty and Thunder Castle is bonkers fun! I think it's a top tier title on the Intellivision! It seems the same thing is happening with my Evercade... I put in a new cartridge and it tends to stay in there for a long period of time (even though I have several other brand new carts to play!). Now... future thinking here about Intellivision Collection 2... it must... MUST include AD&D Cloudy Mountain! That will be the killer game for my Evercade!
  21. I have to say... this topic is inspiring me to do something somewhat similar. lol Similar but different. But as fun as it has been watching this over the past month (it's only been a month!) I would want to stretch my adventure over a longer term... maybe the course of a year. Regardless, I'm sure it would be fun! Keep going!!
