  1. I can't wait to see how it comes out maybe we can get a definitive list of filaments I don't think custom printing my own filament is for me either.
  2. That looks very red. Some of the customer shots look pretty good though. Maybe someone should contact one of these pla makers and suggest a range of colours for Retro fans, couple of shades of beige, couple of shades of grey, a silver, really dark brown, nearly black you could probably cover most retro stuff in maybe 6-8 colours
  3. I have ordered another reel of filament, not the solutech beige that looks to be an even better match (fingers crossed) Anybody got a good walnut brown pla source? the one I'm using is as dark as I could find but its still too light.
  4. Yeah I think that kind of thing is just beyond an app like Tinkercad
  5. You need to watch a good tutorial on workplanes
  6. Well crap, looks like I have a problem too! FilaCube's Ivory White looks like it might be close enough, as does the eSUN Bone White but some of the user photos of that look very white. 3D Solutech don't even list beige on their website any more, I've sent them an email to see if they even still make it.
  7. It's no secret! It's just filament. I'm using Filacube Engineering Gray 3D Solutech Chocolate Brown 3D Solutech Silver Metal 3D Solutech Beige EDIT: You should look at the new version of Blender, it looks like it has been made much easier to use. It's what I'll play with next.
  8. Finally finished enough to release to the world. https://atari8bit.net/sdrive-max-cases/ Each one of these cases takes about $5 of PLA and 10 hours of print time so I am producing a limited number of these cases (max 20 of each), that I will sell for $15 each (+P&P). If you would like one, send me a DM. As a thank you for supporting the original artist, cases ordered from me will have a signed, numbered back panel. EDIT: Forgot to mention... STL files are on the webpage.
  9. Well... After a weekend of failed prints, 10 in total I finally got the settings for the new grey PLA dialed in. Here's the old grey and the new grey Doesn't seem like it was worth the effort tbh
  10. Rain of terror has pretty good packaging https://atariage.com/forums/topic/265358-collectors-box-edition-of-rain-of-terror-with-joystick-support/#comments
  11. #AllTheIncognitos Once open source happens, it never just stops, you know in 2099 IncognitoX would be released Neeto!
  12. 3d print an inner sleeve only a couple of layers thick, it would give all the support required, help to straighten crushed sides and wouldn't modify the original card/printing.
  13. If you no longer have the time to push your designs forward, have you considered open sourcing them? Licence them as non-commercial only if you don't want them to be sold and release all the files so that Incognito 3 can be finished and Incognito 4 can be born. Separately licence for commercial use to the people like Lotharek/Brewing Academy who will sell and give you a commision.
  14. @freetz you have a PM. Whatever you guys did, I could log in before, I can't now.
  15. You go to here http://www.abbuc.de/mitgliedschaft/mitglied-werden and click "Be a member now!", fill in the form, pay your first years fees and wait for your membership pack in the mail. Mine got messed up, I suggest you don't use Safari or any translate plugins when you fill in the form.
  16. I got a copy of FSII from @masschamber so I could model it. Came out OK
  17. I'm in, for me it was the first letter of my town, thanks.
  18. I joined Abbuc recently as well, and I can't log in either. However my membership seems to be a bit messed up as I also can't download anything from the members software/hardware area. On my address label you have me as surname (B), forename (S) My postal code is nnnnnn, on the label it's USA-nnnnnn My address starts with a number 'a' My membership number is mmm I've tried:- mmmSBaU mmmBSaU mmmSBan mmmBSan they all bounce back.
  19. Yeah I get it, I have similar thoughts, but truth is, how many people want to put in that amount of effort for what is essentially a plastic case. I could maybe make some super cases as a limited edition or something
  20. So, just the busy light then I thought the size of the led would be too small for these... however if I made the case a little larger I could fit a power and busy led and an on/off switch...
  21. Just wondering what happened to this, it was looking good before it got the peteym crap all over it, now I can't find anything more about it.
  22. If it wasn't chopped up into little pieces where aren't a lot of common printers that could print a full size one. There are already Kryoflux, 2.5"HDD and SDCard reader cases with Atari styling on Thingyverse.
  23. Well the border around the window seems to have done the trick. The grey I have is depressingly dark. I've ordered a lighter one. @mytek yes I'm interested in making a case for the SIO2MIDI, I have every intention of replacing the midi in my XEL with your updated board and the midi port extension at some point so helping out with that would be cool! I'll shoot you a PM
