  1. Original timings would be a nice option if the consoles are capable of sending out 60.0988...for the SNT and 59.9227...for the MSG without needing the DAC. If Analogue is not okay with putting the feature on the main firmware, it should at least make an appearance on the unofficial.
  2. Take this as a GIF response to your questions about the cart adapters. Analogue’s Cart Adapters
  3. I recently tested the MiSTer over a weekend and was surprised at the state of some of its cores. The SNES core specifically is a very faithful recreation of original hardware. The scaler is excellent and I detected no lag despite using a bluetooth controller. There’s a menu with pre-loaded cheats and even an option to overclock. It looks to be a great hobby project for those interested in FPGA gaming or coding, while the Super NT is great for the prosumer wanting to use carts in a plug n’ play way on a modern television.
  4. If the issue is on an actual cart it should be emailed/Twittered to Analogue. Maybe they look at that list or maybe they don’t, so you can’t count on it for getting something fixed.
  5. This is all forum rant of course, as entertaining as it may be to read and engage. A legitimate inquiry would be to email Analogue about the Bubble Bobble issue and see where it stands in the queue to get done. If you don’t like the response, ask for a refund or partial refund.
  6. The consoles are marketed as perfection and priced to enthusiasts expecting nothing less. Mind the criticism.
  7. Analogue still has a solid hold on the FPGA console market, and an army of youtube influencers to keep sales of new products going, but it’s not as tight as it was only last year. All the more reason for Analogue to produce more consoles as quickly as possible before MiSTer poaches customers or future fpga alternatives do.
  8. Are the Analogue consoles perfect? No, the company has made the choice that the imperfections are worth leaving in place in order to get engineering time for the next product to sell. Bubble Bobble was sacrificed for the next console. Kevtris is great at what he does but he has deadlines and only so much time to devote to one product. I’m impressed there’s not more bugs considering the short amount of dev time allotted to consoles he has no previous history with.
  9. Has anyone attempted to backup/restore sram data from an sa-1 chip game or Yoshi’s Island using the Ufo pro 8? MLiG did a video on the Pro 8 but would not test the sram saving on special chip games b/c of the risk of losing save game data. Just wondering if it’s possible as I’ve got a few games I’d like to change out the battery and would like to back up the sram before I do.
  10. I have the same set-up and enabling cartridge audio cleared it up. On some games (ex. Yoshi island) sound played through the soundbar would cut in/out but when played only through the tv it was fine. After turning on cartridge audio in the settings it plays perfectly through the soundbar.
