  1. If I ever get my C64 set up I will likely use my modded Radica Space Invaders stick.
  2. Can you receive PM's? Sent you one earlier.
  3. Had a couple split bosses on an old synth. I put a piece of shrink wrap tube around the boss and then filled it with JB Weld. Re-drilled after the JB cured. Screws held tight.

    Ccag?

Looking forward to this year's show!
  5. I have two 1702's, one I got off eBay, and another was my friend's. His complete C64 setup was still at his parent's house and I ended up with it a few years ago. He never used it. I modded an S-video cable and used one of the 1702's for my Roland S-760.
  6. I didn't ask about the stand. She seems like a thrifty older person, I'd bet her new 32" flat screen is sitting on it. I will get the Kreg jig out and come up with something. Maybe reinforce the uprights with steel tubing, I weld also but would rather have a less "industrial" looking piece. For now I'll probably just put it on a wire shelving unit that I am moving other things off of. Specs say they hold 350 pounds per shelf. Can leave a couple systems set up on the old Magnavox and roll it next to this stand. Played some more Yurkie-modded CV on it this morning...damn it looks good. Found one of my Sony universal remotes and was able to get further into the menu.
  7. So I'm outside working in the yard, trimming some branches off a tree. My neighbor across the street comes over and asks if I have any need for an "old" TV, since her kids just bought her a flat screen. I typically have a policy of "don't bring any more shit home" (that my dad puts to the test lol) and I said I'd look at it. Get on her porch and it's a Sony KV-27FS100, flat tube, with component input! I guess it's a Wega? Uh, yeah, I can use that! Anyways, had to drive across the street to load it into my Cherokee and finally got it in my house. That sucker is heavy. Beautiful picture. No remote, but I have a few Sony universals I can use. Four inputs plus the antenna should be more than enough to run the CV, Astrocade, and maybe a couple Flashbacks. Or maybe the C64 through S-video. And that still leaves my old stereo Magnavox for a separate setup. I ended up taking my lopper over there and trimming some branches for her. Figured the TV was more than enough in payment. Haven't taken any pics yet but I played some Centipede via flash cart on the CV. Probably play a few more games before I go to bed. Having a party on the 5th and I'm sure my nephew and niece will be stuck in front of it for a while.
  8. I have the 32" version of that Vizio and the same Mackie mixer...
  9. I was waiting for someone to say that. Don't forget the spin-off...The Facts Of Life.
  10. My local Sam's Club still has CV and INTV Flashbacks for under $20. Most of the boxes are damaged though, so they would not be "collector" pieces.
  11. I picked up both CV and INTV Flashbacks at Sam's a few weeks ago. Didn't open the CV yet, since I still have my original one, but I did play some INTV. Played Astro Smash and a lot of Snafu and enjoyed both. Going to get deeper into the INTV soon.
  12. I posted that last week. How are the boxes? At the local Sam's, most of the INTV boxes were smashed on one back corner.
  13. The thread's first post could be edited to include links to common questions.
