I made the mod and loaded the 28-3 firmware and I can no longer boot from .dsk files (that i had from the 25-3 official firmware) and when booting vt100.po it crashes to the monitor shortly after showing the ProDOS screen. I think I got the mod right and didn't do any damage to anything. -
Yeah I swapped the 6532 with a known good one too. Still no activity on the one side of the paddle plugged into port 1. This may just fall into the "known issues" category for the console because I am out of ideas.

I have a heavy sixer that has one paddle input not working. I have tried multiple paddles and all the paddles work in controller port 2, controller port 1 has the issue. I have tested the circuit for continuity and checked the resistor and cap values which all check out. I even swapped the TIA which didn't change anything. The circuit doesn't seem complex, so I am wracking my brain trying to think of what to check next. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I have a heavy sixer that the second paddle on the 1st controller port is no longer working. It was working 1 second and not the next. The paddle works fine on another 2600. I am assuming someting is wrong with one of that controller port's pot lines, but I have no idea even where to start looking for the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
