To people who replace their system's disk drive with an SD card reader. Why? Wouldn't a modchip give you the exact same thing without removing the drive?

  That's weird to prefer cd read errors to no cd read errors. Seriously shining force 3 and a modded saturn, better save ever 5 seconds or else loose all progress to a read error,

  I agree with masschamber. I love 1 system 1 loader solutions. Replacing a drive that is failing or has failed with an SD card is, in my opinion, just upgrading a classic not destroying it.
